Book News: “Chronicles” Goes to Publisher!

At last, after three years of focus, it is with pleasure I can announce that my new book, Chronicles of the End Times, has been submitted to the publisher.

It is a re-reading of Daniel, Revelation, Zechariah 1-6, and Matthew 23-25, using a reading technique that uncovers textual forms ubiquitous in the Bible, and naturally found when the Bible is written on scrolls. The form of the text adds to the meaning of the words! This has been written about by seminary scholars for decades, but its application has been kept limited.

The form of the Bible text, together with the words of the Bible text, gives us much more depth in meaning of prophetic passages. This work will provide answers to many questions, and may open up new areas of debate.

This is a major work, almost qualifying as a textbook. It contains seven sections, with sixty chapters, over the span of 650 to 700 pages, with 165 illustrations. Most of the illustrations contain a chapter or part of a chapter of the Bible, with the re-reading shown.

Though there are many end-time topics that are assisted by this work, it is the sequence of events that interests most people, and so that is the ultimate focus of the book. We will go from the four signposts of Daniel Revisited, to the entire sequence, to the return of Christ and the handing over of the kingdoms to the saints. The full name of the book is:

Chronicles of the End Times:

Using an Ancient Method of Reading to Better Understand the End of the Age

I fought to keep the price of the book lower. It could have easily gone to $50 or more per copy even for paperback. I resisted the urge to divide the book in to two parts, for ultimately it would have raised the overall price as well. Unfortunately, it will come in the region of $35 to $40 per copy for the paperback. It will also be available as an e-book and a hardcover. Though the e-book will be much cheaper (under $10) this is the kind of book that you will want to mark in and make notes in, throughout. You may find this book to be a resource, not only for prophetic texts, but also for the techniques it might teach you for your own Bible study.

The book should be available in June to late July.

Now that the book has gone to the publisher, I can start writing about its various topics. Please stay tuned.

  1. Thanks Mark for all of your hard work. I can’t wait to get it into my hands as Daniel revisited has truly revolutionized my understanding of our times. When it does become available in June or July please post again to let us all know where to buy.

  2. Congratulations Mark! I know it was a long and arduous journey but well worth the trip. I can’t wait to read it.

  3. Thank you for all your hard work. I am currently teaching a group using Daniel Revisited. I am hoping to communicate with you concerning additional resources.

  4. Michael,
    Just email me. Blessings.

  5. Impressive! You’ve certainly been blessed working toward this goal. Soon we will be blessed reading it. Looking forward to ordering my copy. Thank you!

  6. I am so, so happy and excited for you, Mark! This has been a looooong time coming and effort on your part which is now about to come to fruition. Doing this research has been an epiphany for you and how you now view prophetic scripture and it will be the same for your reader-fans as well. This may will change how many understand the prophetic passages that seem so very difficult when looked at from a different reading method.

This could be a new paradigm shift as the Islamic paradigm changed the long-held European paradigm for the prophetic community.

    Blessings!

  7. Looking forward to it coming out.

  8. Congratulations. Can’t wait to check it out. Trying to be patient 🙂
I am sure a lot of hard work went into this book, thanks !!

  9. Mark: Now that it’s going to press could you, without spoiling the plot, answer some questions. Foremost on my mind is the discovering of the new reading method: did you stumble across it, was serendipitous? Or did you actively look for it? Or did someone contact you and say “Hey Mark! Look what I found!” How long did it take between the time you found it and the time it became clear to you what the implications were for prophecy? Does it affect other areas of bible study besides prophecy?

  10. Karl,
Yes I can answer these. I’ll be putting out info on this.
One thing I will say here – yes, this work applies to all Bible study.
