For the many years since Daniel Revisited came out almost ten years ago, I resisted taking a public stand on the timing of the Rapture.
In both Daniel Revisited and Iran’s Great Invasion, I made the point that the timing of the Rapture is irrelevant to the Four Signposts. Whether pre-Trib, mid-Trib, pre-Wrath, or post-Trib, the timing of the Rapture did not matter because we as a world will be going through all four Signposts first.
However, with the publication of Hidden Babylon, and the extension of the prophetic picture to the whole world from the Middle East, and all the way up to the Return of our Lord, from just the Four Signposts, taking a position on the Rapture was inevitable.
Regarding the Harlot herself, a major theme of Hidden Babylon is the exhortation to “Come out of her.” Therefore, along the lines of that theme, and so it is clear where this Bible prophecy teacher stands, I am declaring my position is that the timing of the Rapture is at the end, i.e. post-Trib, at the visible and glorious Return of Christ.

I highly recommend you explore this topic. You will see why—when all Scripture is considered—that a post-Trib Rapture is the simplest, and most straightforward interpretation of Scripture related to the Rapture. What gets in the way for Western Christians are things like fear, idolatry, and so forth. Along these lines, the Appendix also has some questions at the end for the skeptical reader.

THE FOUR SIGNPOSTS 
God bless you. Too many preachers have invested so much of their ministry in the secret rapture that even if they see the truth, they cannot risk losing support and their ministries by telling the truth.
Thank-you, Mark, for this very clear presentation, one of the best I have seen, and, for whatever reason, you did not even refer to 2Thes 2:1-4.
BTW, on p.276, a “does not” [occur] is missing, but for those reading, it should be obvious that it is just a proof-reading oversight.

I plan to examine this more closely, Mark. I tend to believe it falls more in line with the sixth seal as the passage states “these came out of the tribulation” in connection to just prior the seventh seal. This is the common pre-wrath suggestion by those like Alan Kurschner. Now I will say that much like Aaron and Moses, the two witnesses do appear to be guiding the tribulation saints away from the Babylonish mindset while the plagues are going which is within the 7th seal. I had tended to see their death and resurrection in the sixth seal. I will definitely have to go back and look at that.
Hi Mark, Congratulations on completing your latest book! Are the italicized portions of John 12:48 missing from the pdf from bottom/p.269-top/p.270, or were there not meant to be any italics there? I spent over two hours on that before I figured out why it seemed like it was missing something.
Also on pdf p.271, “Therefore,
between this verse and the three verses just noted in John 6, we have
more information about the last day. It is the day at which both the
dead are raised, and those who reject Christ are judged. ”
It’s a good thing you started with First Corinthians 15:51-52, otherwise that could have been taken as conflating the First and Second Resurrections.

The text, “will judge him at the last day” at the top of page 270 has been italicized. The Appendix D pdf file has been replaced.
Mark, the replacement of the pdf still leaves out the “does not” [occur] on p. 276.

You are correct. I’m still debating as to whether the pdf should be an exact duplicate of the book (which fixing the italicization worked toward), or veer from the book and make it better by fixing the “does not”. I can be convinced.
Happy 4th everyone! In reflection of your book and the holidays, it’s clear that America was not to be a daughter of Babylon at it’s inception but tried to come out of European Babylon. Sadly, Babylonish ways have taken over many institutions.

Just to be clear for readers here, the message of the new book Hidden Babylon is to “Come out of her,” in which “her” (Babylon the Great) is all human beings that place idols in their heart over the one true God, Jesus Christ.
That said, and using your wording, we can further say that some people, as part of the Bride, left the European daughters of the Harlot, to be apart and found a new nation. Sadly, those of the Bride may have had influence in founding the USA, but were eventually overwhelmed by those who are part of the Harlot.
No nation is Babylon the Great. Not Rome, nor the USA, nor Europe. It is the people of each nation who are part of her.
I would agree. I woke up thinking about how many in Israel turned to the Canaanites idols in believing that they could still have their Temple and their idols (Ezekiel 8). The heart of Babylon harlotry definitely is a type of syncretism and obsession with the world’s paganism and power. I will say that I do believe also that the “coming out of her” in the end times will be a type of Exodus of the final state of Babylon worldly system at that time as well. I am still reading through your book and about halfway through it. I definitely will encourage others to read it.
I finally finished with it. I liked it but I also thought you could have taken it some another direction like the contrast of Jerusalem with Babylon over the ages which includes how Jerusalem gets seduced by it. Israel’s kings were eventually seduced and are still. Also thought some elaboration could have been made in how the Kingdom of God in the millennial age is in contrast with fall of the Babylon Kingdom and that the martyrs by her hand are raised to life after it’s fall and set to reign with Christ during that time. I do see the harlot Babylon in contrast with the Bride but also believe that Babylon comprises of a system with its a headquarters being the UN. The aims of Trilateral Commission fits very well in line with what you presented of how the great city, the earth is divided into three parts. Also as Islamic leaders do not really like UN protocols, they fit very well as the conglomerate of the final ten.
Interesting verse…
This angel carries a prop more suitable to his size and strength, a boulder the size of a large millstone (v. 21). He throws it into the sea…in judgement of Babylon.
In hearing about the media is trying to squelch the popularity of the movie the Sound of Freedom, this phrase “millstone angel” popped in my head. Then I see this verse today. It’s interesting that it is compared to a large millstone. Which is the judgement toward those who cause little ones to stumble.

The book could have gone in a few directions and even now I wonder if it might have gone further. However, the book was growing in size and it told that which is most important – that you must come out of her. And by “her” I mean what it really means personally in our lives and hearts, to come out of her, to be ready. The UN won’t be anything in a short time.

I can imagine that if the Western church doesn’t want the Second Signpost to replace the Rapture as the next event, then they may be even offended to consider they might be part of Babylon themselves.
