You may not realize it, but the question in the title is very relevant to all of us who call ourselves “Christian.”
The question also so happens to be the title of Chapter 3 of Hidden Babylon and God’s Last Warning.
So what’s the big deal about Chapter 3? Let me explain. Please read to the Conclusion, where you can download Chapter 3.
The Biblical Argument
Chapters 3 to 9 of Hidden Babylon give a series of Biblical arguments, using the parts of the name of the Harlot in Revelation 17:5, that Babylon the Great is everyone who is not saved, whether they call themselves Christian or not. There are chapters explaining the name itself, the mother, the harlots and the abominations.
Babylon the Great, which is the great city (Rev. 17:18), is simply the opposite of the Bride which is the New Jerusalem coming out of heaven (Rev. 21:2).
Chapter 3 is a hard-hitting argument. It shows straightforwardly in only 8 pages that the Mother of Harlots is only one of actually two mothers mentioned in the New Testament.
There have always been two mothers. We just concentrate on the one in Revelation, and not the one in Galatians. (Did you even know there is a mother in Galatians, the opposite of the more famous mother in Revelation? I didn’t either until I researched this.) But they are both mothers and all the world’s people follow them—one or the other. Whichever one you follow is a clue to where you will spend eternity, for the exhortation comes with consequences if you ignore it..
The Exhortation to Come Out of Her
God exhorts and warns us all in Revelation 18:4 where the Bible says, “Come out of her, my people.” The problem is, unless you understand that Babylon the Great is all the unsaved who do not make Christ the foundation of their lives, you miss God’s last call to test your heart. You are not testing your heart for idolatry.
Throughout the New Testament there is warning after warning that idolaters will not inherit the kingdom of God. This makes the exhortation, then, a matter of where you will spend eternity.
People make either God highest in their heart, or their favorite idol(s). It’s one or the other. All who make any idol higher in their hearts than Christ, live in Babylon the Great, which is the great city. But Christ died in the great city for those who live in the great city, so they could escape it, and live in the Bride. Hallelujah!
Now, to come out of her does not mean to leave the Roman Catholic Church, or Islam, or whatever religion, or city on earth. To come out of her means we all must test our hearts to make sure we have no idols raised higher than Christ.
Teachers have done the Church a disservice by teaching that Babylon the Great is this or that religion. By doing so, what has basically happened is men who worship their own idols have told the rest of us that the idols some of us worship is wrong. Rather they should have been telling us God is telling us to get rid of all our idols.
Conclusion
Chapter 3 is available for download here.
After reading Chapter 3 ask yourself, who’s my Mama? Who’s pattern do you follow? Be honest with yourself—it’s between you and God only, and He cannot be fooled or mocked. (As I wrote this book, I realized I had to test my own heart and found a couple things that, in time, may have challenged Christ in my heart, and so I had to lay them low.)
To all my readers who have read Daniel Revisited and agree with the message and have asked themselves, How can I prepare?, the new book Hidden Babylon gives the answer. After the arguments in Chapters 3 to 9, Chapters 10 to 14 show from the Bible what idolatry really is, and how we must pull down the idols in our hearts. If Christ has your heart, then we have His promises that He will make us overcome the world.
God bless you all.

Not sure if I fully agree, Mark. Some organizations are more systemically entwined with Mystery Babylon than others.
I really think one crucial test we need to do is to check our hearts in how we remember and help our brothers and sisters in bonds (Hebrew 13:3). It’s interesting to note the cup of Babylon seduction is to be drunk on the blood of the martyrs.
Gary,
What follows here are my responses in brackets to your post. – – –

[MD – This again touches on the brainwashing we’ve received. We must stop thinking of organizations and institutions as Babylon. So there are no organizations more entwined with Babylon than others. Babylon the Great is all about people. Some organizations that we think of as more evil such as the WEF or Illuminati or UN or more benign organizations like the Red Cross or any other group you can think of are all made up of people who are likely idolaters. It’s the idolatry in a leader’s heart that can make you think of a group that is worse or better. If leaders of the WEF worship themselves as gods thinking they are better than everyone else and can better organize the world, it is that idolatry that we think of as more dangerous than, say, doctors in Doctors without Borders worshipping themselves and their medical skills. This is why the Bible says the battle is not against flesh and blood. Its all about people and the idolatry, the desires, the comforts, that go on in their minds. If one is not following Christ they are following idols.]

[MD – As I wrote of in Hidden Babylon, that is the crime she is most guilty of and will be punished for – all the blood shed on earth due to people’s idolatry. This is why Marxist governments and the Catholic Church and Islam and even the Protestant sides in the Thirty Years War all killed people – it was due to the idolatry in their hearts/minds. This touches on why Jesus said even to be angry at your brother is the same as murder. What causes the anger? It is a need or desire or comfort not being met, when you are not practicing Christ as your foundation. That is idolatry. What causes sin? As James says it is the desires in your heart. This is why Jesus said anger is the same as murder. Idolatry, if left unchecked, will result in murder. So, yes, that is why the woman was drunk on the blood of the saints. It’s what Babylon and everyone who is a part of her does.]
I think we are in the same ballpark actually on this, just different base, different angle on it. Revelation seems to imply both a people and an idolatrous system.
@Gary C
I was reading a few verses from the Book of Amos earlier today, where the Assyrians are described as having the rod of God’s anger in their hand, and having their intent to cut off many nations, though God’s purpose for allowing them success is to bring the people of Jerusalem up out of idolatry. The King of Assyria thinks himself something special because he has already conquered nations who built bigger, fancier idols with more widely-kown names than the idols that the people of Jerusalem have made for themselves.
The “big bad guys” in the End Times may serve similar purposes for ending world-wide idolatry, and demonstrating that God is superior to idols, no matter how many other idols of man a particular human ruler may have overcome in his conquests. America and other nations that don’t repent may find themselves wondering why, no matter how many enemies they stop or disasters they respond to, another, bigger one always seems to be waiting around the corner. One minute, Biden talks about sending aid to fight fires in Maui or in Canada, and the next, a massive earthquake kills thousands in Morocco. It isn’t a coincidence that Morocco, of all countries in the Arab world one of the most closely aligned with the U.S., has been stricken so bad this close to the anniversary of 9/11, God’s warning to America of incoming shaking.
Amos 5
18Woe to you who long for the Day of the LORD!
What will the Day of the LORD be for you?
It will be darkness and not light.
19It will be like a man who flees from a lion,
only to encounter a bear,
or who enters his house and rests his hand against the wall,
only to be bitten by a snake.
20Will not the Day of the LORD
be darkness and not light,
even gloom with no brightness in it?
So with a tanking economy and Biden’s poll numbers barely at 40%, thinking Iran will be will be even more compelled to overtake the Middle East sooner than later. They don’t want to contend with Trump or de Santis. This airbase being established near the Lebanon/Israel border reveals the preparation for the second signpost.
Every one have a blessed Rosh Hashanah!
I attached the following article to show what Galatians 4:10 actually referred to.

This news item brings to mind what Jonathan Cahn wrote about in The Harbinger. The T.V. series on in the background at the time I read about this made mention of Hadrian’s Wall, as well. The wall, the breach in the wall, and the famous fallen sycamore are all harbingers of shaking before judgement.
Hadrian was the Roman emperor who fortified the West’s farthest frontiers. Now those walls are crumbling and broken, in the process of falling down. They are in no shape to protect anyone. Persia was, in its prime in ancient times, the West’s main rival, until a new power arose that replaced it in that role. In the ancient case, it was the Hunnic empire. In the modern case, it is Russia. One of the main differences is that there was never a direct alliance between the Huns and the Persians. Today, Russia and Iran, as allies of each other, present an even greater challenge to an even more divided modern West than was the case in ancient times.
Mark,
Had to post the following sermon by Michael Lake. Great sermon series, he does two more, definitely harmonizes well with Hidden Babylon.
