“Three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth; and thus they said to it, ‘Arise, devour much meat!’” Daniel 7:5 NASB
There are many parallels in the words of Scripture, between Daniel 7 and Daniel 8.
Focusing on the Second Signpost, the Persian ram and the Bear are both higher on one side. They also both have the number three as part of their description. The Persian ram is to run out in three directions, that is, north, south, and west, from Susa. The Bear has three ribs stuck in its teeth. The Bear is told by the ribs in Daniel 7:5 to eat the flesh of other animals, in other words, to attack and feed on other nations.
It is rather easy to see that the three ribs could correspond to the three directions the Bear will go wandering, since the Persian ram (running out in three directions) and the bear represent the same thing.
Iran’s IRGC and Basij will invade many Middle East countries, taking over and occupying them. However, the Shia populations may be the targets the IRGC goes after to protect fellow Shias.
Might that be the call of the ribs to the Bear? Could be.

News reports tell us that in the Syrian coastal region of Latakia (the red region on the map below of Syria) where most of the Shia Muslims live in Syria, that Shia forces loyal to Assad attacked units of the HTS.
This could spark an escalation to civil war. And the numbers in men and population are only an advantage to the Sunnis and HTS. The Assad loyalist forces may only bring it upon themselves, but if the Shia Muslims in Latakia are in danger, this may very well lead to the call by one of the three ribs to, “Arise, devour much meat!”

THE FOUR SIGNPOSTS 
If I’m not mistaken the HTS is Sunni, and have been along with SNA forces, attacking Alawites and Christians in Latakia and surrounding communities. It’s looking more and more like(for those of us who know the signposts), that we are witnessing the rise of the man of sin. I have a question: could these ribs possibly represent both direction and proxy groups of Iran? And since its been almost two years since these these proxies really, one of them, for certain, devoured much flesh, be now calling for the bear to run out, as the dream of Dan. 8 took place two years later? Am I twisting the text too much?

Yes, the HTS is Sunni, which is one reason Turkey supported them.
Yes, the ribs could represent both direction and proxies, but while the directions will always be north, south and west, the proxies can change.
And the ribs won’t devour any flesh, the Persian Bear will.
Thank you Mark, for the right perspective. So the ribs, being left with no meat on them, calling out to the bear, could be a possibility. And the direction in which to run!
Hezbollah crossed the Syrian border, kidnapped 3 HTS fighters, took them back to Lebanon, and executed them on video. HTS is now launching rockets across the border towards Hezbollah positions. Yemen is being attacked by US Air strikes killing 30+. And the Azerbaijani and Armenian fighting to the North. Hmmm….Could this be the trigger?

If the US strikes Iran, I don’t think it will go as they hope. Iran will respond… and it will be devastating for the world. This has got to be the trigger. The timing of the second dream was two years later, and here we are! Iran is threatening to close the Suez, and that will be for starters, they, as you have said in your book Mark, will bomb oil fields push into Syria, Damascus,, northern Iraq. I’m feeling a miscalculation of some sort that will terribly weaken our effectiveness in this campaign against Iran. Russia is not to be trusted here. We may see a NATO war, Turkey may have to come to our aid to finish what we started. And lets not forget about China!!!! The Fall of 2025 may be the season of reckoning.

I agree with you, because the two most likely triggers as I see it are either what you say here, or the US starts WW3 with Russia and so America’s military needs to withdraw from the Mideast.
It’s time. Trump is getting ready. Iran will have to either negotiate or fight.
