Trump’s “Biggest Decision” May be Bigger than the World Imagines

(19 June 2025) This commentary appeared on Fox News. It speaks of—and rather confidently—a great potential for Trump to bring complete peace to the Middle East by destroying Iran’s most significant nuclear facility at Fordow, which is 15 miles or so north of the Shia holy city of Qom:

“The most important decision of President Donald Trump’s life is before him.

“It is the decision of whether or not to order the United States military to assist Israel in destroying what remains of Iran’s nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs. The U.S. has the capabilities to do so. Does President Trump have the will to order it be done?

“If he does, he will almost certainly bring this war to an end and open the road to a vast expansion of the Abraham Accords.”

Israeli weapons cannot reach the Fordow facility since it is under 300 feet or so of rock, but the US bunker buster bomb could reach it.

Such an achievement of expanding the Abraham Accords would indeed be a crown jewel in the legacy of any presidential administration. And I have seen many voices in the American church talk about how this would bring the great peace to Israel. (However, according to the Signpost theory of Bible prophecy interpretation, the time of great peace and security for Israel is not yet. This would occur during the Third Signpost.)

Threat of the Second Signpost Now

With the Second Signpost hanging over our heads, the potential for Trump’s command for US bombers to take out Fordow could be the triggering event for the Second Signpost. If this is the case, there is the potential for a far greater legacy in the opposite direction, i.e. infamy.

Instead of great peace breaking out, the Second Signpost could break out, Iran occupies most of the Middle East, and the Antichrist rises in the domino that is the Fourth Signpost and then the Tribulation begins.

That could potentially be Trump’s legacy: the man responsible for knocking down the first domino to begin the cascade of end-time events that hits the world like a freight train.

Threat of the Second Signpost Later

There is also a chance that taking out Fordow is inconsequential to Iran, since there may be truth behind DNI Tulsi Gabbard’s statement that Iran is indeed not pursuing a nuclear weapon, and this is all a diversion by the IRGC so that the regime appears weak and dead so that the Second Signpost is a complete surprise. As I wrote in earlier posts, if the Bible is showing us that the Second Signpost will happen, it doesn’t matter whether Iran has nukes or not.

Keep watching. Remember, if the Second Signpost breaks out, and internet or electricity is out in your area, you may be the only messenger to your church about the Signposts.
