History Professor Predicts Inevitable Second Signpost

(6 February 2026) A Professor Jiang, a Chinese-Canadian academic teaching at a university in Toronto, Canada, predicts that a coming war between Iran and the United States is inevitable.

What makes his predicted war basically the Second Signpost, is that not only will Iran defeat US forces, but that the consequence of this war will be a global change for the worst. And this is all inevitable because he makes the case that the US must attack Iran.

Professor Jiang is a scholar of both world history and game theory. His YouTube channel Predictive History, has many videos showing how he has connected the dots of history across many civilizations, both in recent history and ancient history, blended with game theory, to predict many things that are in the works today.

I’ve watched enough of his videos to see that he has unique insight into the way empires and nations work with each other. I don’t agree with everything he says, but I believe he gets enough correctly to be worth listening to.

In one of his videos he is able to tell his students about faith in Christ and the way of salvation, and yet he doesn’t seem to be a Christian.

I highly recommend every student of the Signposts watch these two videos. They are long, but worth it.

The First Video

The following are the highlights of the first video.

At 0:11:13, he begins a summary of central banking and its applicability to world affairs.

At 0:12:22, he shows central bankers are the ultimate priests, maintaining the illusion that money is God.

At 0:26:38, Jiang starts talking about the petrodollar and how it basically drives everything the US has done internationally for the last 40 years.

At 0:43:21, he shows that Putin understands a grand strategy, and that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is not just to bring the Russian peoples of eastern Ukraine into Russia, but to bring out and test, as it were, American resolve.

At 0:45:06, he shows that the aura of America’s invincibility rests on the US Dollar (USD).

At 0:45:23, Jiang shows the logic steps to come to the conclusion that the United States must invade Iran to restore faith in the USD. Remember, the entire Iraq War and the First Signpost was not about WMD, it was about Saddam not selling his oil in USD. Also, note Venezuela, which now sells its oil in USD.

At 0:47:03, he shows that the reason the United States must support Israel, isn’t so much because of Israel, but to create an excuse to invade Iran.

At 0:48:29, Jiang says this war will be the end of the American empire (I’ll show in the second video that he goes into more detail on this topic.)

At 0:51:43, he comes to the conclusion that America’s debt is too huge to pay, but as long as you keep invading countries, you don’t need to worry about it.

Then, at 0:53:35 he shows a very curious and amazing parallel between the American Empire with NATO and the Delian League of the Greek city states back in 400 BC or so.

At 1:04:08, Jiang arrives at the conclusion that the US is like a mafia state and must invade Iran in order to control all the oil of the Middle East.

At 1:04:37, he concludes by saying that this conflict between the US and Iran is WW3. It is here he makes some startling statements that sound like the Second Signpost. I quote Jiang here:

“I cannot overstate how brutal this conflict will be. It will lead to fundamental changes in the world. Our lives will never be the same again. Everything that we’ve known in the past is now gone forever, and we have to prepare for a new future.”

And this is what I’ve been saying for the last many years and in Daniel Revisited. The Second Signpost will be militarily brutal in the Middle East and economically throughout the world.”

At 1:05:18, Jiang leaves a final message for his class. He speaks from a secular standpoint about we people being a new light for the world, but this is where he falls down. It will be us, the brothers and sisters of Christ, that must adjust to this new world, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, be a light to the world in all the awfulness.

Yes, as I have always said, the Second Signpost will be awful and will change the paradigm of how the world looks and feels and operates.

The notion that the US must attack Iran is only strengthened by all the news out there, such as in this recent report, and this, and this.

The Second Video

In this second video, Professor Jiang puts the case together as to how Iran would defeat US forces in the region.

Interestingly, Daniel 8:4 says that the Persian Ram will not be stopped by any other nation, and I believe there are two possibilities for this to happen. I had always leaned on the notion that I thought was more likely, which was that the US military would withdraw due to a wider WW3 with Russia and China. And though this wider WW3 could easily happen, Jiang shows the second option how the Iranian forces will defeat the US forces in the region.

Conclusion

The Bible yields the Signpost theory. Within that theory, the Second Signpost will happen. Here we see confirmation of it coming, in that the US must attack Iran and in Jiang’s mind, will be defeated by Iran.

If this all occurs, then yes, Iranian forces will run out in the three directions, and occupy many Muslim nations. The oil will be shut off. Horrendous things will happen in the world as it is set on the path to Christ’s return.

All of you must be relying on Christ. Electricity and the internet may not be available, and so you may be the only person to shine light on this whole situation, showing how the Bible predicted all the things happening in the Middle East.

I also pray, that once all of you witness the Second Signpost actually unfolding, your jaws will hit the floor as mine did for the First Signpost as you watch for yourselves first hand prophecy being fulfilled to the letter. And that the prophetic message of the Bible will burn in you right alongside the Gospel, so you can help those around you to come to Christ in the midst of people’s fear and desperation.
