(26 February 2026) President Trump’s M.O. has played into the timing and intensity of a potential strike against Iran. So unsurprisingly, what looked like just a day or two or three has been delayed a little longer.
Trump is reportedly going to hold a “war room” meeting with the chiefs of staff and generals tomorrow, Friday, February 26, to decide on a course of action at 3 PM EST that same day. The news article talks about impact to the markets, but of course the true impact hanging over the world may actually be the Second Signpost.
At that point a strike by the USA against Iran could happen any time afterwards. And, as in any game of chicken, with Iran’s leadership not knowing what the US will do and when, they might just strike first against all American assets in the region.
Whether the US or Iran strikes first, we could likely see the final spark for the Second Signpost.

Ankara is also reportedly considering limited cross-border operations into Iranian territory in the event of a power vacuum or regime instability there, with the primary aim of preventing a large-scale refugee influx across its borders, according to people familiar with the matter, cited by Bloomberg.
This draws from recent Bloomberg reporting (dated February 24, 2026), which highlights Turkey’s updated emergency planning to manage displacement risks, given its existing burden from millions of Syrian refugees and concerns over economic strain from any new wave. NATO has meanwhile increased surveillance flights over Iran from bases in Turkey as U.S.-Iran tensions escalate.

As of late February 2026, the Turkey-Egypt-Syria-Qatar “Troika” (sometimes referred to as a “quadrilateral” or “new regional axis”) has transitioned from a series of bilateral reconciliations into a coordinated diplomatic and economic power bloc. This alignment is centered on regional stabilization, particularly in post-Assad Syria and post-war Gaza.
Was wondering what your thoughts might be. DR places Albania as the 4th head.

Very good. I missed the “Troika.” Qatar was never an ancient kingdom that tried to destroy Israel (unless you count it part of the 7th head which is Islam). So Albania would be expected to be the 4th nation as you mention. Keep in mind, that conditions before and after the Second Signpost will be quite different, so nations would likely shuffle. Also, Qatar would be completely occupied by Iran, and so would be helpless to help Turkey. This “Troika” could be the basis on which the four-sunni-nation confederacy is built.

I wondered why in the third sign post it all happens so quickly, after Iran butts out, I’m beginning to think that what’s going to transpire in Turkey is not necessarily large gathering of forces which could take almost up to a year or a coalition of the willing I’m thinking they might have hundreds or thousands of missiles heading towards Tehran, but in one of those missiles there would be a nuclear bomb? that is why everything collapses so quickly any thoughts would the West and Turkey use a nuke?
