(28 February 2026) Wearing a baseball cap (this one displaying “USA”), as President Trump does on many occasions, he gave the same speech this morning as George W Bush gave in February 2003.
Tonight’s speech given on what could be the eve of the Second Signpost is the same speech Bush gave on the eve of the First Signpost.
This speech is the history of the antagonism by the nation that is the target of American military strikes, just as Bush spoke of the history of Saddam’s regime.
Trump is appealing to the members of the IRGC, telling them to lay down arms or die. He is telling Iranians here is there chance to take out the regime.
Saddam’s Republican Guard melted away, letting the First Signpost happen. Will the IRGC melt away? If the Second Signpost is to occur, the answer is “No” and it will strike back.
Trump said this series of strikes could take weeks. This would mean the Second Signpost could literally begin at any moment, for the next many days.

Joel Richardson says this cannot be Daniel 8 because it was not Iran that did the initial strike north south and west? but I’m not too sure the text says you have to start the war and it does not even say that it has to be boots on the ground? it just says that they could do what they want they could do what they want with just missiles as well. I think 90 95% of the Christians do not believe that Daniel 8 could be current but that it is passed.

Daniel 7, Daniel 8, and Revelation 6, only tell us the big event – that Iran will get to do what it wants, that it will go in the three directions, that it will eat other countries for lunch, that it will kill people across the Middle East, that it will cause chaos in the world.
BUT – we have no idea when it will start, nor how the details play out. The ribs’ calling the Bear, for example, that could be from the US saying now is the time, or it could be Russia starting WW3 saying to Iran “OK, you can come out now.”
Joel Richardson said a few years ago that he doesn’t think the Signpost interpretation is true. I believe he believes that from his own statements – he is beholden to, like most prophecy teachers – to the traditional teaching on all of Daniel which cannot be true because they are based on guesses made before Daniel was unsealed in the end time, a la Daniel 12:4, 9. I do, however, credit Joel for starting and articulating the Islamic Antichrist theory.
And your statement “I think 90 95% of the Christians do not believe that Daniel 8 could be current” is evidence of the traditional teaching being too strong for people to see that Daniel 8 says 3 times that the vision occurs in the end time. Sad but true. Hopefully seeing the Signposts be fulfilled one-by-one will wake people up, even the Amillennialists.
And what is your take on the Afghanistan and Pakistani war taking place next door to Iran? Is this possibly one of the fronts seeing as they are directly east of Iran?

That new war is outside the sphere of the Second and Third Signposts. However that war ends, it will figure into the Antichrist’s (Mahdi’s) Empire at the end of the Fourth Signpost.
