The Winding Path of the Second Signpost: Greater Glory to God

(8 March 2026) The more impossible a situation seems, but it occurs because God willed it, it results in greater glory for God.

The Red Sea parting, and the sun standing still, both seemingly impossible events, brought greater glory to God showing His might and sovereignty.

2 Kings 7 tells us of how the king didn’t believe the word of the Lord through Elisha because it seemed too incredible: Samaria was under siege long enough to the point that a donkey’s head cost 80 shekels of silver, but the very next day seven quarts of wheat would sell for a single shekel.

Likewise, before US president George W. Bush declared what he US was going to do with Saddam and Iraq, no one in 2,500 years could have imagined what happened.

And so, if the IRGC simply defeated the US military directly and then ran out, though amazing, wouldn’t it be even more amazing, bringing more glory to God, if God says in His Word that Iran will do what it is supposed to do, but only after the most powerful nation on earth claims complete victory having supposedly smashed Iran’s ability to wage war?

Conclusion

Just as all world history winds its way in such a way to bring as many people into God’s kingdom, so the Second Signpost will continue on a path bringing greater glory to God.
