Day 10 of 25: No Oil Through the Strait of Hormuz

(9 March 2026) It is now 9 pm MST March 9, or, 4 AM GMT (Greenwich), March 10. It is now Day 10 that traffic has ceased to transit the Strait of Hormuz.

The oil ceasing out of the Middle East, causing loss of peace of mind worldwide, is the start of the Second Signpost, which began March 2, if the ceasing continues.

A general rule of thumb for world economics and the US petrodollar is if the Strait is closed for 25 consecutive days, both will tank.

At this point, the 160 million barrel deficit in production is erasing the extra inventories of the world.

Marine Traffic

Marinetraffic.com shows no traffic at this point in time (see figure below).

Oil Price

Oilprice.com shows a peak in the WTI of $120 Monday morning when the commodity markets opened. The price is currently at $88 per barrel. The price came down to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) releasing some oil into the market, and Trump threatening Iran some more. But these effects on the price won’t last long.

Conclusion

At this point in time, most people don’t know this is happening, or if they are aware, they think it will be fixed. Most people who you tell at this point will likely say, “we’ll see.” At that point it will be too late to prepare.

There is no panic or loss of peace of mind yet. If the blocking of the Strait continues, we will probably see fear escalate to an extent next Monday.

If the 25-day rule is true, we will start to see panic around March 27 or so. Prepare now. God is being merciful to us and letting those who know what might be coming, prepare.

Keep watch.
