Day 14 of the Oil Block: Kharg Island Attacked

(13 March 2026) It is now 8:45 pm MST March 12, or, 3:45 AM GMT, March 13.

As of now, the Strait of Hormuz continues to be blocked. The idea of the Second Signpost starting March 2 is still in play.

News Item 1: Second Horn Confirmed as Longer Than First Horn

I made this post on March 4, that the IRGC pushing the Assembly of Experts to elect a new supreme leader was confirmation that the second horn of Daniel 8:3 finally grew up longer, though later.

Another editorial titled, What Khamenei Jr’s absence reveals about IRGC’s role, surfaced from the same website but by a different author. He wrote,

“Analysts say the moment highlights a deeper shift: power inside Iran increasingly appears to rest with the security apparatus.

“‘This is a textbook case of the tail wagging the dog . . . The IRGC used to be the tail. Now it’s the one wagging the dog.’”

The events of the last few days, as well as the last 45 years, together give us further confirmation, in addition to the growing oil crisis, that we are indeed witnessing the Second Signpost beginning. I say this because we saw a power in Iran starting out tall and long (supreme leader speaking for God/Allah), with a second power growing, and now indeed the second power is taller than the first. Confirmation of Daniel 8:3’s fulfillment is a good start to idea that the Second Signpost being in the works.

News Item 2: US Threatens to Destroy Iran’s Oil Terminals on Island

Kharg Island is a rather small island 20 miles or so off the coast of Iran, and holds most of the oil infrastructure to transfer oil from the Iranian mainland to oil transports.

A news report says that the US military has destroyed every military asset on Iran’s Kharg Island.

In addition, US president Trump wrote,

“For reasons of decency, I have chosen NOT to wipe out the Oil Infrastructure on the Island . . . However, should Iran, or anyone else, do anything to interfere with the Free and Safe Passage of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision.”

It seems we have reached a turning point. Up to now, the oil shock to be felt around the world could come tomorrow if the regime chooses to attack all the oil facilities of the Arab nations, or we might see a slow strangulation over the next two or three months as the IRGC continues to block the Strait. But it was up in the air.

So if Iran continues to block the Strait which the supreme leader says at this point is Iran’s mission, it looks like Trump must act to save face, thereby shooting ourselves in the foot by destroying the oil facilities on Kharg Island. I say shooting ourselves in the foot because China then doesn’t get their Iranian oil, which further drives up the oil price as China bids up other sources of oil.

Conclusions

We have further confirmation we are in the Second Signpost due to the seeming fulfillment of Daniel 8:3.

We have reached a turning point due to Trump turning up the pressure on Iran. Iran will likely not budge.

Keep watching.

Keep your gas tanks full. Get your supplies and read up on how to grow a vegetable garden. Food might get harder to get. Find out how to raise chickens for eggs. Whatever you do, do it quickly, for we don’t know how much time we have left.

  1. Not only Mark Davidson is warning us. From the acting head of the IMF, the very center of the monetary aspect of our world, already on March 09th came the following warning:

“And if, as we all hope, the conflict ends soon, then be sure that, before long, some new shock will come. My advice to policymakers everywhere in this new global environment? Think of the unthinkable and prepare for it.

    https://www.imf.org/en/news/articles/2026/03/09/sp030926-coping-and-thriving-in-a-fluid-world

Individuals should heed this warning too.

In the same article is said:

“about a fifth of global oil supply and LNG trade normally transits through the Strait of Hormuz. This includes almost half of Asia’s oil imports and about one-quarter of its LNG imports. For Japan, the figures are almost 60 percent of oil imports and 11 percent of LNG imports.”

Even if the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is permanent, I guess these numbers are low enough to prevent total collapse of society in the Asian countries. However, they are high enough to cause serious hardship and impoverishment.

thanks for the running commentary Mark. I look at all these endeavors on the west against Iran as no animals will be able to do anything that does not mean they won’t try they just won’t succeed in the way that’s necessary.
