Day 15 of the Oil Blocked: Signs Showing US May Have Made a Big Mistake

(14 March 2026) It is now 10 pm MST March 14, or, 5 AM GMT, March 15.

If the Second Signpost is real, and happening now, tonight it might be finally asserting itself more strongly in our reality, starting to truly rear its ugly head. The idea of the Second Signpost starting March 2 is still in play.

As of now, the Strait of Hormuz continues to be blocked. It has been blocked 15 days. About 300 million barrels of oil have been removed from global oil supplies by Iran’s actions.

We have five news developments tonight—none of them good for the US or world. The last two items are continuing developments from the Kharg Island attack yesterday.

The bottom-line is the war may be starting to turn badly for the United States.

News Item 1: Oil Inventory Flow Too Slow—May See $200/Barrel Oil

The price of gasoline could jump early this coming work week. Apparently, the 400 million barrels to come from global oil inventories are not being released fast enough to encounter the 300 million barrel shortage from the Strait being blocked. This report from oilprice.com says,

“The oil futures paper market is likely underestimating the massive supply disruption that a closed Strait of Hormuz is creating in physical crude and fuel supply globally.

“Analysts started expressing views that $200 oil is not a fantasy anymore—with 20% of global oil supply choked at the Strait of Hormuz buyers are racing to procure physical cargoes.”

News Item 2: “Fertilizer Shock” Plants Seed for Famine and the Third Signpost

There is a growing “fertilizer shock” that will raise food prices (a day’s wage for a denarius?). If we see food prices rise tremendously due to not only less fertilizer growing all crops, but the oil to transport and process, food will be much more expensive as well.

This article from a financial newsite reports,

“Experts are now sounding the alarm over a far more insidious threat: a “fertilizer shock” that could cripple global food production for years to come.

“With nearly 50% of the world’s seaborne urea and sulfur exports now stranded behind the blockade, the ‘natural gas transformed into plant food’ that sustains modern civilization has been severed from its primary shipping route. The immediate implications are staggering, as nitrogen-based fertilizers—the bedrock of high-yield farming—have seen spot prices double in the 72 hours since the closure was confirmed, threatening a massive inflationary tail for food prices across the globe.”

News Item 3: Regime Aims to Take Out US Petrodollar

The regime is considering letting Arab neighbors sell oil, but only in Chinese Yuan, not US dollars. This article reports,

“Iran is considering allowing a limited number of oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz on the condition that the oil cargo is traded in Chinese yuan, CNN reported, quoting a senior Iranian official.”

News Item 4: Trump Thinks US Can Re-Open Strait

This Newsmax story reports that US president Trump thinks the US can still re-open the Strait.

Trump is reported as declaring,

“‘In the meantime, the United States will be bombing the hell out of the shoreline, and continually shooting Iranian Boats and Ships out of the water,’ he wrote. ‘One way or the other, we will soon get the Hormuz Strait OPEN, SAFE, and FREE!’”

News Item 5: Iran’s Attacks Escalating By Using Bigger/Newer Missiles

This YouTube video interviews former General Douglas MacGregor who gives a status of American, Israeli, and Iranian weapons being used in the last 24 hours.

A retired General, Douglas Macgregor, tells us of reality of war in general and how this war with Iran is starting to turn against the US.

Iran is now using its more powerful and hypersonic missiles to attack various targets.

This would suggest that the IRGC can indeed strike all oil facilities in the Middle East. The General suggests that the world is headed to poverty, and that the US should just pull out. He also sees the Petrodollar ending now in which we will not be rich anymore.

The regime is saying it will not stop attacking.

The General is also showing reasons why we will lose and why the picture is looking dire for the US and world. He said that a war goes on and on when there is no real strategy, which he believes the US right now does not have in dealing with Iran.

I recommend you see this whole 39-minute video. It is an eye-opener. I would detail more items about this video, but I’m out of time.

Conclusions

The loss of peace of mind by the second horseman is accelerating. We see three factors forcing this.

First, oil could hit $200 per barrel on Monday, making gasoline double from the current price. Second, cutbacks in fertilizer production are going to make a great dent in food production this coming growing season. (Start your gardens now if you haven’t yet.) Third, the regime is out for blood in ending the Petrodollar, in which one way is Iran forcing the Middle East to sell its dollars in Chinese Yuan rather than US dollars.

The US military may bombard the shoreline of Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, but it will not stop Iran’s missiles. Not only might the US not be able to open the Strait of Hormuz, but we might even see the IRGC directly attack US warships in the region.

We also see that in the conduct of the war itself, the US does not understand the regime—not its mindset, its craftiness, its tenacious zealousness.

We may be seeing the first signs of the war turning against the US and for Iran. Iran will win if it can achieve two goals: (1) survive the US assault, and (2) cause the US and world economic catastrophe.

At that point, if it achieves these two goals, the regime will then be free to charge out as the Ram without anyone to stop it or rescue from its power, per Daniel 8:4.
