(18 March 2026) President Trump was in the White House yesterday answering questions about the Iran War. One topic of surprise on the president’s part was for Iran to attack all its Arabs’ oil facilities and shipping.
“They weren’t supposed to go after all these other countries in the Middle East. So they hit Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait. Nobody expected that. We were shocked.”
From this more complete news story we are told that Trump’s analysts said there was a risk of Iran doing this.
Signpost Theory and Its Watchers Know
Sorry, Mr. President, but the Signpost watchmen knew this was a real possibility if the Second Signpost bears true.
Of course, this topic touches on things that go into the twilight zone, such as would anyone have listened if they were told? The answer is likely no. I’ve gone to over a hundred ministries (even to big-name venues) and churches and almost all of them say, “not interested,” So my conscience is clear.
Signpost theory first published in Daniel Revisited talked about this ten years ago, as did Iran’s Great Invasion (free pdf).
The second horseman will take peace of mind (Greek: eirene, peace of mind) away from the earth. What else could that be but the oil from the Middle East being cut off and people not being able to put food on the table? Oil is the lifeblood of the world economy, and Iran has the ability to cut off one-fourth of the global supply. This is especially true given the second horseman is red out of the Islamic quad-colors and the horsemen have authority over a quarter of the earth (Islam).
Brothers and sisters sought answers as to what is going on, and what the Lord God is doing in the end times. And the Lord allowed them to see as He allowed me to see.
Conclusion
My two desires are (1) for the Church to be warned about the Second Signpost, and (2) if only a relative few are going to watch with me, let them see the events of the Second Signpost unfold in prophecy before their eyes, just as the First Signpost did for me. It is amazing and encouraging to see God directly work in world affairs.
All of you, my brothers and sisters, are a blessing as through you, the Church will be warned, and in the hard times to come, encouraged and comforted.

Good job Mark, keep at it. Yes it’s weird to see how many in the church – members and staff (looking at you Jack Hibbs lol) – are derailed by the pre-trib rapture concept when there is not one single verse in the bible which describes it. And God has said a thing shall be established on the basis of two witnesses, but the pre-trib doesn’t even have one.

While there are four witnesses for the post-Trib – John 6:39, 40, 44, 54 as if Jesus is trying to make a point.
Sadly, Calvary Chapel has written the pre-Trib rapture into their creed of beliefs.
