Day 27 of Oil Blockage: Iran Still Has Missiles While Oil Buffer Used Up

(27 March 2026) It is now 9 pm MST March 27, or, 4 AM GMT, March 28.

We are watching both the actions of the Iranian and American militaries, as well as the deterioration of the world economy while the Strait of Hormuz is closed.

As of now, the Strait of Hormuz continues to be blocked. It has been blocked for 27 days. About 432 to 540 million barrels of oil have been removed from global oil supplies by Iran’s closing of the Strait of Hormuz.

The idea of the Second Signpost having started March 2 is still in play. Until the regime is completely disbanded, or until the Ram runs out, this is not over.

Three themes of news stories came to light today.

News Thread 1: US Assessments Seem At Odds With Reality

This Reuters story reports that Secretary of State Rubio said the war should conclude in just weeks, not months.

However, after four weeks of bombardment, the following story from Newsmax came out stating that only one-third of all of Iran’s missiles can be confirmed destroyed and one-third is not clear what their disposition is. The Newsmax story goes on to say that this count contrasts with Trump’s statement the day before that Iran has “very few rockets left.”

News Thread 2: Russia Benefits from Higher Oil Price . . .

This news is hardly surprising. Russia uses the crude oil from its own fields, and what it exports has doubled in price. Potential government budget shortfalls are being mended.

News Thread 3: . . While the Rest of the World Will Get Worse

This Oilprice.com story reports that the extra buffers of oil that were released a couple weeks ago have just been used up. Starting next week, the world overall becomes more sensitive to the oil blockage at the Strait.

This would mean the price of oil would start to climb again. The average oil price rose by 50 percent at the start of the war. It didn’t go up further because of the oil inventory available for use. But now the inventory is depleted.

Conclusion

If the present course continues, we will yet see the full taking away of the peace of mind by the second horseman. The oil margins have been used, and Iran still has missiles capable of destroying more Arab oil infrastructure.

The world has been without the oil that went through the Strait, for 27 days. An expert said 27 days ago that at 25 days the world economy would become damaged long-term.

It looks like with the 400 million barrels released from inventories used up, we are now entering a new phase as the oil price will likely climb more come Monday morning. Keep your gas tanks full.

All the regime has to do now to win is keep the Strait closed for another few weeks for chaos to spread and for the US Petrodollar to possibly die. Get physical silver and gold.

Keep watch.
