Day 33 Oil Blocked: The US Has Only Unleashed the Second Horseman

(2 April 2026) It is now 9 pm MST April 2, or, 4 AM GMT, April 3. As of now, the Strait of Hormuz has been blocked for 33 days.

The Signpost theory of prophecy interpretation says that Daniel 7, Daniel 8, and the first four seals of Revelation 6 are all related and talking about the same four events, the Four Signposts.

Second Horseman of the Second Signpost

The Second Signpost includes the Bear of Daniel 7, the Ram of Daniel 8, and the second horseman. The Second Signpost has indeed begun on March 2, 2026 IF the Strait of Hormuz continues to be blocked, which it has been for 33 days.

Revelation 6:4 lists the first job of the second horseman:

“Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth . . .”

That word for peace is eirene (iraynay) which means peace of mind, the kind that if you have then you know you can put food on the table.

The idea of the Second Signpost having started March 2 is still in play. Until the regime is completely disbanded, or until the Ram runs out, this is not over.

The Second Horseman Rides Out in Force

The ways peace of mind can be taken from the earth, are as numerous as our world’s economy and industry is complex.

This well-written analysis, dripping with dark humor, treats all the terrible things the US has brought on itself and the world via this war on Iran, as “polishing a turd”:

1) Turning a free waterway into a toll booth paying Iran;

2) India and Japan are converting their vast foreign reserves from US dollars to Chinese Yuan;

3) 10 percent of the world’s ships are captive;

4) Seven commodities reduced including urea by half, oil by one-fifth, and helium (for computer chip production) by one-third; (from the article: “The war has successfully disrupted seven global commodity flows simultaneously, achieving a level of supply chain diversification that would be difficult to replicate intentionally.”)

The seven commodities that were cut off by the Strait of Hormuz’s closure. Transport, food production, and tech industry are all terribly affected.

5) Hundreds of millions of people worldwide will go hungry this winter;

6) India can no longer produce the 40 percent of generic pharmaceuticals for the US;

7) Kuwait lost 38 percent of its water production;

8) Europe now depends on expensive US LNG for natural gas;

The same article lists all the things the US accomplished in conducting its war:

1) The US spent $200 billion vs. Iran spending $200 million, meaning the US had to spend 1,000 times the money Iran did for this war, so far;

2) The IRGC still has hundreds of missiles and thousands of drones, with the patience to fire them only one or two at a time;

3) A constant tit-for-tat, that is Iranian weather facility for Arab water facility, Iranian bridge for Arab bridges, and Iranian steel factory, for Israeli factories;

4) The Iranian regime will survive;

5) The declared destruction of Iranian forces has shrunk from 90 percent to 80 to 70 most recently;

6) The remaining time for the war has grown from 2 or 3 days back on February 28, to up to 8 weeks now.

Conclusion

Though the Bible does not tell us the circumstances under which each of the Signposts begin, never did I think the Second Signpost would be triggered by an American president. The First Signpost, sure (I witnessed it in 2003 and I didn’t know what to expect), but the Second?

This also shows the ignorance of the western Church and end-time prophecy. I’ve heard many church leaders say that God has ordained Trump to bring about the end times to trigger the Rapture. My answer to that is: Oh yes, Trump was ordained by God to bring in the end times, but in a way that they have no clue what is really going to happen.

God is good at doing that—that is, taking the best laid plans of man and turning them completely upside down.

America’s judgment can be seen coming now, that is, coming poverty by loss of the Petrodollar, coming hunger by loss of one-fourth of the American harvest. But these things will be needed to make revival possible.

Make sure Christ is number one in your life. Be ready mentally for what is coming. One thing God gave is that is merciful here—it’s the start of growing season.
