The message of the Four Signposts, if true, as written about in my book Hidden In Plain Sight gives us Biblical and prophetic insight into events in the Middle East. The current mainstream media story about Ahmadinejad visiting Egypt is no exception. This is a story that is mostly just noise, with a little bit of significance.
Iranian president Ahmadinejad is visiting Egypt and was given a red carpet welcome by Egyptian president Morsi. One of the four heads of the leopard is welcoming the bear, as it were. The story says that Iran is seeking greater strategic partnership with Egypt. However in the great war to come in the Middle East, Egypt and Iran will be bitter enemies. So this story of a budding friendship is false and and friendship itself will be brief. Some people may believe this is a start to a great Islamic union but it is not. That is reserved for the fourth and last signpost.
There is some significance to this story, where there is a hint of what is to come. Part of the story says that Egypt’s chief sunni scholar, sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb has “rejected the extension of Shi’ite Muslim influence in Sunni countries.” Of course the Second Signpost coming up next will see an overwhelming extension (read “invasion”) by Shia Iran into the Sunni nations (read “most” nations) of the Middle East that will completely trump anything going on right now.
