Up to now, the Four Signposts message that is explained both in Daniel Revisited and on this website has been limited to the four major signs leading to the emergence of the Antichrist. (And my apologies for the lack of posts to this site for the last two months, but I needed to let certain things settle.)

The Four Signposts

The Four Signposts message comes from what I call the Four Signpost theory of Bible interpretation. Every good theory makes predictions. This theory makes four. The first prediction—that Iraq’s government would change from something very brutal to something more civilized—happened. It started in February 2003, two weeks after the prediction was made.

Twenty years later we are still waiting for the Second Signpost, and watching the setup for the Third Signpost. The bulk of the posts made on this website have been about these two coming Signposts.

The Need for Greater Scope

For years, we saw demonstrations of the supreme leader’s political power, and the IRGC’s military power capable of carrying out the next Signpost, the Second Signpost. Examples are here and here.

However, for the last year or so the Iranian regime and the IRGC have been relatively quiet in the news.

In contrast, events in the remainder of the world that connect to the Signposts are many, and unfolding, every week and month just as the preparations Iran made several years ago were far more than now. The further interpretation of end-time prophetic Scripture presented in Hidden Babylon, chapters 11 to 13, is playing out in our world right now. And just as reading Daniel Revisited changes chaotic Mideast events for the reader into an orderly set of events that make sense, so too, Hidden Babylon does this for major world geopolitical, military, and economic events.

In addition, one issue that keeps coming up from readers is how we prepare for all this. In the past, I’ve written on this website about specific physical preparations if you are called to be a “Joseph” and more general calls for staying close to Christ. The last chapter (ch. 14) of Hidden Babylon gives a much better explanation of what we are called to do to be close to Christ.

Two Additional Themes

Therefore, in addition to the Four Signposts themselves, this website will expound on the two themes mentioned above.

The Theme of Significant World Events

First, news from around the world that shows the end-times unfolding will be presented.

This general theme goes as follows. The world (Babylon the great) is divided into three parts, corresponding to the way each part responded to the Gospel (post here). In all three parts, God has removed and is removing and will remove the cultural idolatry from each of the three parts. God is doing this to bring tens of millions of people to Him.

We’ve been witnessing this in communist China since 1949.

China and Russia will likely do something to hobble American military power and so the Second Signpost will begin in earnest. These events will take away the West’s cultural idol which is money, resulting in great revival but in the presence of great human misery. Then China, using Russia, will attempt to take over the Old World during the Second and Third Signposts, having secured the oil and gas from Russia which Europe foolishly let go. And Russia has a specific role to play which has been exposed by the Ukraine War (more on this later).

However, China, in allowing the Second Signpost to start, will trigger the emergence of the Antichrist in the Fourth Signpost. The Antichrist, in turn, will not only conquer the middle part of the Earth (Muslim Realm, Europe, Africa), thus taking half of the Old World from Chinese influence, but will remove the cultural idolatries of those parts of the world, which are all the “-isms.” The last “–ism” to be removed will be Mohammadism, per 2 Thessalonians 2:4 and Daniel 9:27. There will be great revival in that part of the world even while the Antichrist is ruling.

During all these Signposts, with China consolidating power in East Earth, and Antichrist consolidating power in Center Earth, West Earth (the Americas) in various places will descend into poverty, and likely war. War is likely in America especially if China attacks the American homeland, whether or not they actually invade.

The Theme of Preparation

The secret and key to preparation is to heed the warning at the back of the Bible, which is to, “Come out of her, my people.” All people, whether they call themselves Christian or not, are part of Babylon if they have any idols in their hearts more precious and more worshiped than God Himself.

Yes, we all sin, and yes we all have our sinful desires, but our hearts must be with Christ. Sin is something we must not plan on doing, but something we stumble and trip into. After a sin, do we feel shame and seek forgiveness, or do we not even worry about it?

To “Come out of her” means to examine and test your heart, and if you fail the test, repent and make Christ a part of your daily life, putting His interests ahead of yours.

This topic will be written about from time to time as well as the world news.

Summary

It really is past the time to start delving into these topics. If the Four Signpost interpretation is true, this ripples throughout Scripture even to the point of showing that Babylon the great can be nothing other than the entire unsaved world. This not only gives us a guide as to world events, but also shows us what we must do to prepare.

For if we pull down the idols in our hearts and serve Christ, God takes care of everything else if we are unable to, per Matthew 6:33.
