(15 April 2025) The wait for the Second Signpost to begin, continues. Today, we are now faced with two possible triggers for this devastating event to begin.
The Second Signpost
According to the Signpost theory of Bible prophecy interpretation, the Second Signpost is next. This is the coming invasion and occupation by Iran of most of the Middle East.
The Bible, in Daniel 7:5 and Daniel 8:4, tells us what is to happen.
What the Bible does not tell us is when it is to happen (beyond only knowing it happens after the First Signpost, which occurred in 2003 to 2011).
And the Bible does not tell us how it will be triggered.
The Clue
The Bible does give us a clue, though, to how it could be triggered. The clue is in Daniel 8:4: “No animal could stand against him, and none could rescue from his power.” In other words, any military that could potentially stop Iran’s IRGC, will not stop Iran after all.
This means the Israeli and American militaries will either be defeated by Iran, or will be kept tied down by another conflict. For Israel, it could be the Psalm 83 war. For the USA, it could be WW3 with Russia and China.
Trigger No. 1
The first possible trigger has been with us for a few years. This is the Russia-Ukraine War going on since 2022. Our world has already come close to an all-out WW3 a couple times now, what with Russia declaring its red lines and NATO threatening to cross them.
If all-out world war did occur, American forces would likely be pulled away from the Middle East to other parts of the globe to deal with an active war scenario.
Trigger No. 2
The second possible trigger is new. Now in his second term, President Trump has been talking about Iran. One news source has story after story about it. And here is the heart of the problem: any major attack on Iran could actually result in the Second Signpost.
Thankfully, Trump is ignoring Israeli PM Netanyahu’s call to attack Iran outright.
However, his words in a speech given on Friday, March 28, 2025, echo the Second Signpost. Newsmax reports the story and gives a video of the speech.
Trump said it twice, about bad things happening to Iran, both at time 00:31 and 00:44. It was at the end of his short speech (at 00:44) Trump warned that if Iran doesn’t make a deal with the Trump administration that, “bad, bad things are going to happen to Iran.”
“Bad, Bad Things . . .”
With the Second Signpost in view, overshadowing the world as the next Biblical end-time event, those “bad, bad things” could happen first to the USA, both with its military and its petrodollar.
Then those “bad, bad things” would happen to the world as the price of oil multiplies several times in price, jamming the world economy.
And those “bad, bad things” would happen to the Middle East as chaos and killing take over, as the Daniel 7 Bear wanders.
Then, finally, with the Third Signpost those “bad, bad things” would happen to Iran but only because of the four-fold Sunni Confederacy.

With Zelensky signing the agreement this past week and then the events of this week with Putin and Russia, looks like WW III is back in full form.
The lifting of sanctions on Syria reframes the power dynamic, placing Riyadh, Ankara, Doha, and Abu Dhabi at the center of Syria’s new political equation. The unspoken message: Washington was paid to step back. On the surface, this looks like a lifeline to a war-ravaged country. But it’s really a strategic U.S. exit from the Syrian debacle and maybe even the Middle East.

We can hope. I remember when I saw the First Signpost action finishing up in 2005, my first reaction was fear for our American troops being in the way of Iran.
Mark: I don’t know why I never noticed this before. It is the goat that crushes the ram, not Israel. Does that imply that all the “heavy lifting” is done by Turkey, not the IDF or its missiles?

That is correct. Turkey ends the Iranian regime, as written about in Daniel Revisited, chapter 11.
I guess my point was WHAT IS ISRAEL DOING this time. If no power could stop the ram that means not even Israel can either. Hmmm. Did they make a deal behind the scenes for Turkey to do the dirty work? Will the Iranians welcome the goat -Turkish military forces as liberators? Iran looks like it is collapsing now. Will the Hidden Imam come out of the well now?
