(31 May 2025) Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ spoke those words, recorded in Luke 21:34, to describe an aspect of His Return.
His Return itself is as unavoidable as an animal walking into a trap and being caught with no escape. All the events leading up to that—including the Second Signpost—are unavoidable as well.
Therefore, if the Signpost interpretation of prophetic Scripture is true (as written about in Daniel Revisited), they will indeed happen. And in the news the last few weeks there has been talk of attacking Iran. Any war with Iran will likely result in the Second Signpost.
And so the last few weeks have felt like walking into a trap. One of the two triggers for the Second Signpost—Iran—is heading for what seems to be triggering the unavoidable.
On one hand there is US President Trump saying, “[Iran] can’t have a nuclear weapon,” coupled with, “There’s two steps. There’s a very, very nice step, and there’s a violent step. There’s violence like people haven’t seen before, and I hope we’re not going to have to do this.”
In other words, if there is no stopping Iran making a nuclear weapon, war with Iran is unavoidable.
And on the other hand there is Iran’s regime saying, “Regardless of whether a nuclear deal is reached with the U.S., enrichment will continue.”
Continued enrichment will likely result in a handful of atomic warheads, which is unacceptable to Trump and to Netanyahu of Israel.
The two positions look like a recipe for a clash. It looks like an irresistible force coming up against an immovable object.
Keep watch. The Second Signpost could be very close. An all-out attack on Iran might just trigger the Second Signpost. And that attack could start in the weeks and months ahead.

THE FOUR SIGNPOSTS 
This adds a dark lustre to this year’s High Holy Days, for sure.
Let us also not forget Daniel 11:2 “And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.” (KJV)
Of course, “Grecia” is far better translated as “Yavan” (IPA: javan).
The “three kings in Persia” are most-likely consecutive, as is the fourth after them later in the verse. Assuming consecutive kings and taking in where we are in history, we must realize the third and fourth kings rule *together* with the fourth-and-last being superior to those who come before him (or it, assuming it’s the IRGC).
It is still plausible the last Shah of Iran is the first of the four kings of Daniel 11:2. Davidson’s theory is still in play. It is odd, though, to my instinct, to see the last Shah Pahlavi be clustered together with the Ayatollahs Khomenei and Khamenei who could not be more different than Pahlavi.
What is also still plausible is Khomenei being the first king per Daniel 11:2, making his ascent on 11 February 1979 an event foretold in scripture. Hence, Ali Khamenei is the second king per Daniel 11:2, if my interpretation is correct and Davidson is wrong.
Which means the Ram cannot go until Khamenei is out of leadership and power in some way.
Our man Khamenei has supposedly been at death’s door for decades, being ever weeks from passing away. I suspect this has been a troll by Iran all these years and that in fact, Khamenei is actually doing reasonably well for a man his age. What he has in frailty he more than makes up for in spite and malice.
Every day the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei remains in power is a gift to humanity and the world. So long as the ram does not go out, the world has a respite.
Moreover, as rich as the IRGC may be, per Davidson, it’s not rich enough just yet to be the fourth king. But again, Davidson’s four kings are still quite possible.
My money for now is on Ali Khamenei to be pushed aside either by people or by death, a new Ayatollah as third king, and a Shia-Mahdi claimant to arise to his place as the fourth king per Daniel 11:2.
It seems s(#) many times goes down at or around High Holy Days.

May I respectfully suggest in regards to your “Poking the Bear” post, that, Daniel’s vision of the bear occuring two years prior and Oct. 7th, 2023 nearly two years ago, has direct implications to the Ram running out. And here we are almost two years later…coincidence?….I think not! Israel has been poking the bear for two years, and like clockwork, in the third year of the kings reign ( 2 years later) the Ram is about to push!

Hey, I gotta give the headline some sort of catchy title. You are right though. You also may remember this post in which I showed that October 7 was indeed a miniature second signpost-like event, without being the real Second Signpost.
I love the headline…I guess I was just looking for confirmation of Oct. 7th fufilling the Daniel 7 bear prophecy. Can I, or should I say, that was this (the bear and ribs) and two years later, this is about to be that (Dan. 8 and the Ram)?

That might be the last and crowning move. The IRGC could be argued it became more powerful than the supreme leader years ago. But one never knows. Nice catch.
