First Signpost to Second, History May Be Repeating Right Now

(15 February 2026) Yesterday, on February 14, protests across the world were held in 600 cities against the current Iranian regime, with calls to remove it. Rome, London, Munich, and New York City each saw crowds in excess of 100,000 people in the streets.

These crowds are actually calling for—one way or another—a forceful removal of the kings of the Medes and Persians of Daniel 8, if the Signpost theory of interpretation is correct.

The Signposts say that if there is an effort to remove the regime, things will not go as planned. Daniel 8 says the regime will be removed, but not that way, and not in this time (Hint: the coming Goat will do it.).

The millions in the crowds will be very disappointed.

Hoping for US victory, the US could very well be defeated. If the US is defeated, that will be your sign the Second Signpost is likely on its way.

If the regime is indeed the kings of the Medes and Persians, the horns of the Ram, any attempt to remove them will fail and any military trying to remove them will be defeated.

A Funny Thing

Interestingly—and I can’t help but wonder how God might view the dark humor side of the situation—the nations in which these protests are occurring, such as the UK, Australia, Canada, Greece, the USA, and Japan, will be some of the nations that are hardest hit by the Second Signpost.

The Eve of the First Signpost

It’s amazing how history repeats and sometimes rhymes.

It was today, February 15, twenty-three years ago in 2003 that millions of people across the world demonstrated against the impending American invasion of Iraq. The crowds protested in New York City, Rome, and London and in hundreds of other cities.

Those crowds protested the invasion of Iraq and the removal of Saddam.

The millions in the crowds were very disappointed.

Hoping that the US military would not go in to Iraq, the US military did just that and successfully removed Saddam Hussein, the leader of Iraq.

The First Signpost then proceeded in the years following that event.

Watching, Waiting, with Beethoven’s 7th

Looking at the crowds protesting the regime and wanting it to be removed, Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, Second Movement comes to mind. That piece evokes a complex spread of emotions. Beethoven was good at that.

This piece always evokes for me a feeling of dread of an event that you might think is inevitable. I think I see an ominous event coming. I see history repeating. I see millions of people in crowds worldwide wanting something. They were disappointed the first time. And they will likely be this second time as well.

The first time, the result was the world became slightly more unsafe, with the sixth most powerful army in the world as a cork holding back the religious zealots of Iran, removed.

The second time—this time—those same zealots will come on out, and all of us westerners in our easy chairs watching events halfway around the world will see it travel that far back to us and economically hit us hard, waking us out of our spiritual sleepiness.

Get Ready

It looks like sometime in the next month or two the US will attack Iran with the intent to change the regime. The second aircraft carrier group has arrived in the area. Over a hundred C-17’s each carrying 80 tons, are arriving bringing war materiel.

President Trump has said regime change is the best thing for Iran. He seems intent on attacking Iran with the mission of removing the regime just as Saddam was removed.

Keep watching.

Be ready.

  1. Dont we have military bases in Turkey?. I wonder what would happen if Iran hit one, or more of those US bases, either on purpose or miscalculation….Would the king of Javan and all of NATO get involved?

  2. Thomas,
Yes and maybe, in my opinion.
Yes, we have military bases in Turkey, especially the big one at Incerlik just 60 miles away from Syria. And it unwisely has nuclear B-61 gravity bombs stored there. Western hubris.
And “maybe” because we have a yes and a maybe in the answer: yes, the king of Yavan would respond to any Iranian invasion of Turkey (Daniel 8:5-7 tells us this), and maybe NATO would join in, but only if it can. If the US is fighting WW3 or a civil war at the start of the Third Signpost, it will only be the four-fold Sunni confederacy to fight back. And the European part of NATO? They would be in a world of hurt having had most of their oil cut off from the Second Signpost, and their silly nuclear plant shutdowns and fragile wind farms won’t save them in the least.
Don’t forget, the Second Signpost will change everything. Every border and the conditions in each and every nation will change drastically.

  3. I honestly believe that with all the reprobate Jews that supported the Israeli from Epstein to Maxwell and more files being released this week that it cause a stir to pull out of the Middle East and turn against Israel momentarily. A groundswell at the roots level will continue against Israel as a result.

I will say that the Orthodox and Messianics in Israel should not be the ones to pay for such behavior of these reprobate Jews who think Adonai should forgive their deeds for supporting Israel. Something is about to collapse and not sure how the dominoes will fall. Thinking once the Ram begins to boldly advance in its warfare that support for Israel will change back to them.

I anticipate the United States and Israel will have success in the short term, but when the missiles start dwindling and they have to go back to port to restock the tide will turn. many people in the West think Iran is a terrible state, but name one country they attacked?sure there’s countries they support but every country does that especially us. the West is no better they just go about evil in a different way. I e Epstein files, and aggressive take over of countries.Iran will not be another Venezuela. would be nice to just get a realistic peace deal (realistic for all) Gods will be done buckle up…
