(4 March 2026) Time is getting shorter for the Iranian regime to strike back, or even survive, if what US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is true.
In a press conference given this Wednesday morning, Hegseth said that in a few days the US and Israel will have complete control of the airspace over Iran, to bomb and take out targets at will.
He declared the Iranian navy destroyed with 20 ships at the bottom of the Persian Gulf. However, since the Second Signpost is a land war, the IRGC Navy was never really prominent. Also, most of the military funds of the IRGC went to its rocket force.
Hegseth said, “The U.S. military has hit more than 2,000 targets in Iran, including command and control centers, ballistic missile sites, Iranian navy ships and submarines, and IRGC headquarters.”
If the Second Signpost is the true interpretation of prophetic Scripture, then this war is not over and is in fact, far from it.

THE FOUR SIGNPOSTS 
Well, navy and air force are really important in modern day warfare, even if it’s primarily land based since without it ground troops are very, very vurnerable if its adversaries use planes, ships, etc. I’m wondering, if Iran just loses, all this dies down in a couple months and the regime is still intact but with a lot of losses suffered (navy, air force, unalived leaders, etc). What would your take be? Just wait for the next possible war involving Iran?

Interesting scenario.
Daniel 8:4 says the Ram goes out and no one can stop it or rescue from it. So if the regime is intact, and all this dies down, then for the IRGC/Basij to be assured they even have a chance for a ground conquest, then the US and Israel must be kept busy by something else. Who knows, Russia (Ukraine) or China (Taiwan) could draw off US military so that no one can indeed go to the Middle East. And yes we could see a delay of a few months before the ground invasion in that case.
I would say that would be God being merciful because this movement has woken up the Signpost watcher community, and it might cause people to double-up efforts to get prepared.
