March 19, the Middle of the Shmitah, Is Here

(18 March 2026, 8:30 pm MST) March 19, 2026, the middle of the current seven-year cycle on the Jewish calendar, is tomorrow. Of course, in Iran, it’s already March 19.

Potential Significance

In this post I explained why it is potentially significant.

The bottom line of the significance is that the next great step in the Second Signpost could occur. The next great step, conceivably, is that all oil facilities become disabled in the Middle East, and so whether the Strait is kept open or not, the point is moot for there would be no oil to ship out.

IRGC Announcement

Well, we have all just received a notification from the IRGC of potentially great significance. This news was posted only half an hour ago.

The announcement from the IRGC as it appears in Pravda, March 19, 2026.

The notification from the IRGC, and posted by Pravda, notably on March 19 in Iran reads:

“With the update to the list of targets, oil facilities linked to the United States are now considered on the same level as American bases and will be targeted with force.

We warn citizens and workers of the need to stay away from these facilities.”
