March 19, 2026: A Date to Keep in Mind

(3 March 2026) During this time that we have a little room to breathe between Iran War developments, let’s look again at the big picture.

The Jewish Calendar Seven-Year Cycle

While the Four Signposts are all about watching the big four events and the trends leading to these events, and we are not to know the times, we can still measure up events to the Jewish calendar’s seven-year cycles. These cycles begin on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, every seven years. Looking at these cycles might give us a clue as to what is coming sooner and later (an example is the current cycle—with the Russian/Ukraine election to the Second Signpost possibly beginning).

Significant milestones have occurred at the beginning, or the middle of, these seven-year cycles. And ultimately the seven-year time of Jacob’s trouble will occur over one of those cycles.

The Current Cycle and March 19

The current cycle, the seventh since the first horseman rode out, began in September 2022 and will end in September 2029. The midpoint of this current cycle—like the midpoint of the Tribulation when the Antichrist walks into the new Jewish Temple—is March 19, 2026.

A History of the Cycles in the End Times

Here’s a rundown of the cycles so far, and how it might play out in the near future.

Cycle 1 (start Sep. 10, 1980)—Saddam the First Horseman rides out and starts conquering the very hour of the very first day of this cycle, confirming the Signposts are tied to these cycles. The horsemen are heralds of what is to come. The Ram’s second horn begins to grow during this time.

Cycle 2 (start Sep, 23 1987)—Saddam’s first war winds down; Saddam’s second war (against Kuwait) is in last half.

Cycle 3 (start Sep. 5, 1994)—Nothing significant, except the Ram’s second horn continues to grow.

Cycle 4 (start Sep. 17, 2001)—The 9-11 attacks on America begin the process to remove Saddam Hussein, and the First Signpost begins (2003) during the first half. By mid-cycle, the lion’s mind had been changed to that of a man. Enforcement of the change via “the surge” was in last year of this cycle. [Author’s note: Signpost theory discovered just before First Signpost began.]

Cycle 5 (start Sep. 29, 2008)—Nothing significant. [Author’s note: Research and writing during this cycle. Daniel Revisited published at the end of this cycle.]

Cycle 6 (start Sep. 13, 2015)—Nothing significant, though watching the Ram’s second horn reach the height of the first horn.

Cycle 7 (start Sep. 25, 2022)—At the start, Russia, having started the Ukraine War seven months earlier, holds its election in the oblasts Russia conquered, and annexes them into Russia. This could be seen as possibly related to the Second Signpost as it may take Russia and WW3 to help Iran win. The election was part of Russia’s redline that was crossed (Ukraine might go to NATO) and so WW3 would begin in earnest.

The middle of this cycle, March 19, 2026, could see the Second Signpost begin with IRGC/Basij boots on the ground throughout the Middle East.

The end of this cycle could see anything from the end of the Second Signpost to the end of the Fourth Signpost.

Cycle 8 (start Sep. 9, 2029)—If the Fourth Signpost ends here, the Tribulation would immediately begin here. The Antichrist would renew the covenant between “God” and Muslims (the “many”) at the start. The Antichrist would conquer Europe and Africa in the first half to consolidate his empire. At the mid-point, he will be in the Temple declaring himself God. The last half is the Gog-Magog War, centered on Jerusalem, in which Antichrist tries to kill every Jew and Christian within his realm. The cycle ends with the return of Christ.

Cycle 9 (start Sep. 21, 2036)—

Conclusion

Interestingly, we might be looking at seven cycles (Four Signposts) and then an eighth (the Tribulation). Seven is perfection, and then one on top of that. God tends to repeat things so we dumb humans can “get it.” There are seven kings (the nations of Daniel 7 beasts) and then an eighth (Antichrist) (Rev. 17:11). Give a portion to seven, and yes, to eight (Ecc. 11:2). Jesse had seven sons, and then an eighth. Micah 5:5 has the same pattern.
