(11 May 2026) It is now 10 pm MST May 11, or, 4 AM GMT, May 12. As of now, the Strait of Hormuz has been blocked for 72 days.
The idea of the Second Signpost having started March 2 is still in play. And it will remain in play and either be disproved when the regime is completely disbanded, or will be confirmed when the Ram runs out across the Middle East.
Yesterday, I wrote that I am 70 percent convinced that what we are witnessing in the Middle East and much of the world is the Second Signpost. I think that percentage is going up.
We have two new videos.
Martin Armstrong
Martin Armstrong of Armstrong Economics posted a video yesterday. The first half is what is relevant.
Talking about the Iran War, he said that none of the neocons consider what happens when things go wrong.
He brought up one good point from connecting dots: as soon as Trump removed sanctions from some of the Russian oil, Zelenskyy sent in drones bombing and destroying much of the Russia oil infrastructure making things worse for the world.
Nobody had the foresight to secure the Strait of Hormuz first.
He summarizes saying, “Iran has won strategically.”
They control the Straits. They control the oil markets from their location. They are the ones who have spread misery through the world.
That sounds like the second horseman and taking away the peace of the earth.
Robert Pape
This next video makes a surprising claim.
This news show interviewing Professor Robert Pape of the University of Chicago makes the claim that the Iran War will make Iran a world power and make it great. The selective power over the Strait of Hormuz they will use as leverage to change power of certain blocs of nations.
Where have I heard that line before about Iran becoming great? Oh yeah. It’s in Daniel 8:4 where it says of the Persian Ram,
“He did as he pleased and became great.”
If this is the Second Signpost, we may very well be seeing the beginning of Iran’s ascension to being great.
Conclusion
How often have I written, “Of this is the Second Signpost.”
We have a massive famine coming reflecting the start of the Third signpost.
We have growing misery and loss of peace of mind getting worse and worse affecting more of the countries of the world as time goes by.
Knowing the IRGC has as its goal conquering the Middle East Muslim nations per their Guardianship document, it looks like Iran planned to bait the US into attacking, and positioning themselves to survive the attack.
If the US invades Iran, Iran has promised to destroy all the Arab oil infrastructure. They have kept their promises on retaliation so far.
And now someone says this war will make Iran great.
Woah.
I want to be cautious, but I am tempted to say the Second Signpost is definitely here. The evidence is piling up. What do you all think?
And if the famine arrives this winter, we should see the IRGC and Basij conquer the Middle East this summer and fall.
Prepare spiritually, mentally and physically where you can.
Keep watch.
Categories: Signpost #2: Iran, In The News, ALERT, World in the End Times
Mark, in analyzing all aspects of Iran’s power currently from all different sources on the web in the last month, the US forces have decimated at least 65% of Iran’s military resources, some report 75%. I think it is a mere waiting game to see how they will provoke Javan soon, probably with one of their ballistic missiles and then see retaliation from that region. Turkey is a master of waiting for the right time to do this as they will seek to take over the main leadership of Sunni Islam.
At the very least all this really looks and feels like all the prerequisites for the second signpost being put in their places.
Destruction of most of the Gulf infrastructure would be the next prerequisite. I believe there really is a big chance this will happen in 2026. This will make Iran relatively much more powerful than they are already now, especially if their own oil / gas infrastructure is not destroyed.
Iran overrunning the Middle East may happen this year too, but 2027 or even later remains a possibility. Then they have more time to make themselves even bigger, and make the BRICS countries more powerful too. All to the detriment of the USA and the West and our Asian allies.
After conquering most of the Middle East the West, especially Europe, will know this, and then launch the third signpost in a desperate last ditch attempt to regain what they lost, supporting Turkey.
If indeed a very strong El Nino starts this year, the harvest this fall will be worse than with “only” fertiliser shortages, and 2027 will be way worse again. If that happens it will really look like God Himself helping to make things worse.
Muslims may see that as Allah helping to bring the USA and the West to their knees and that their god is superior.
As a Christian I will then say that God / Jesus want to let all the world know and feel that all human wisdom, power, science, technology, peace efforts etc fall short, and that affluence and peace should not be taken for granted.
Only in dire straits, some people will realise they only need Jesus. For then Jesus is all that remains for us. This will become increasingly true while things are progressing.
Gary,
And yet the Second Signpost with its Ram and Bear and Horseman given power to allow slaughter, are all on the agenda. A mere invasion of Shia boots on the ground will put the Sunni King of Yavan into his embittered rage.
Adamant,
Could be 2026, or 2027. What tends to tell me the invasion by Iran will be this summer or fall is that if that fertilizer shortage really does result in the start of the Third Signpost, i.e. famine, its coming this winter and spring. Unless the Signposts can overlap, like the Second is still running when the Third begins? Don’t know.
@Mark, you might be right.
If a big El Nino starts this year, as ever more meteorologists expect, its effects in 2027 will be bigger than those in the fall of 2026.
Also, the fertilizer shortage for the fall of 2026 is only partial, because many farmers & countries got their fertilizer before the Strait closed.
Only in 2027 the harvests will suffer from the full 30% fertiliser shortage that came about after the closure of the strait.
The bad harvest this coming falll will be more than enough to take more peace from the earth, causing unrest and anxiety.
Now there is something I did not think about before: What if something happens so that USA has to give in and leave with the Gulf infrastructure intact, leaving it all falling under Iranian control? Or if the USA is defeated with only part of the Gulf destroyed, and also all falling in Iran’s hands?
Then Iran can let BRICS profit even more at the cost of the West, giving the not-conquered Sunni nations including Turkey, plus the West, even more compelling reasons to counter-attack. If then the Gulf infrastructure is finally destroyed, the famine coming from that plus El Nino in 2027 will be big indeed.
Just speculating, as food for thought.
Iran, according to what I have been reading — is in the driver’s seat as the options open to the U.S. are all disastrous. I read this morning that Iran sent a 14-point peace settlement that requires massive concessions on the part of the U.S. What bothers me is that U.S. news contains almost zero references on how the closure of the straits is affecting the economies of the world. It just talks about rising gas prices.
I do think there will be another surge with Iran and thar you might still be correct. This awful Pride fest city by the Dead Sea that Israel is doing might help Iran to encourage a couple of nations to their side. There is also possibly of another Israel exile before they are restored in some sort of an agreement. There is some prophetic verses that seem to allude that this could happen.
