(20 May 2026) It is now 10 pm MST May 20, or, 4 AM GMT, May 21. As of now, the Strait of Hormuz has been blocked for 81 days.
The idea of the Second Signpost having started March 2 is still in play. And it will remain in play and either be disproved when the regime is completely disbanded, or will be confirmed when the Ram runs out across the Middle East.
March 2 is the day the second horseman supposedly began taking away the peace of mind of the earth.
The Great Taking of Peace of Mind
To what depth, or height, will the second horseman take that peace of mind from the earth? Up to now, we see a broad spectrum of effects strike different countries.
The US sees gas prices go up 50 percent.
Europe sees its jet fuel running low.
Japan is using up its reserves while scrambling for new supplies.
India is missing half its natural gas, and so people in the cities must make one canister of propane last for all the meals for six weeks.
Thailand has grounded much of its fishing fleet.
Filipinos don’t have the gasoline to get to work.
Cuba has no more fuel and has gone dark.
How much deeper will it go, or can it go? How many nations will continue to descend economically? How bad will things get?
That word in Revelation 6:3, iraynay (Strong’s #1515), includes as one of its definitions in Thayer’s Greek Lexicon, “security, safety, prosperity, felicity.”

On addition to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, some are connecting dots saying the Venezuela, the Iran War, and Ukraine’s attacks on Russia’s oil refineries is all war on China to try to take away its oil imports. Maybe.

Conclusion
Over the next two or three months we will likely watch the world continue to descend into more desperation as various things break such as supply chains as well as fuel shortages.
I’ve encountered in the last few days here in northern Colorado, Christians who are oblivious and talk about taking road trips and flying to Europe.
I hope and pray that their wake-up call is not too shocking or abrupt. I tell them of what is coming; whether they listen is up to them.
Experts now say that here in the US we will see another price shock in June. Across the world, come September 1, oil refineries will begin shutting down since there is not enough oil to keep them open.
I believe the chance of this being the Second Signpost is now 80 percent. When Arab oil facilities are completely taken out and Iran runs out, will we be at 100 percent.
Do not procrastinate regarding home projects, health procedures, and the like.

Good afternoon,
I’ve also heard, from MonkeyWerx, that Iran is threatening to cut internet cables located not only in the Strait, but along the entry to the Red Sea. It’s not like they are being silent about it. In his video he showed at least two headlines sharing Iran’s threat.
How fun will that be when coupled with oil and food…
My husband is getting ready to drive from Florida to California. His oldest granddaughter is graduating and his brother is suffering from dementia – so, I understand his desire to get there and pray he finds his way there and back safely. He’s not going blindly, he sees and understands what’s happening – but it may be his last opportunity to travel across the country. Meanwhile, I’ll be home trying to prepare for the worst and yet pray for the best.
Honestly, I struggle with the ‘why’ – why did Trump make this impetuous decision – what a mess; however, it’s still God’s ‘mess’. We just need to stay tuned to Him and continue to watch.

Thanks for sharing. I’m glad to hear he will be watching over his shoulder. Yes, I’ve asked the same question you do – why did Trump do that? In the 20 years I’ve been watching for the Second signpost I never guessed an American president would trigger it. But your answer is right in your comment – “it’s God’s ‘mess'”. God let him be drawn into it, to fulfill His sovereign will. And this is how Trump, as they say, will cause America to turn back to God but it will happen amongst poverty and awfulness. So be it, Lord Jesus! God bless.
I don’t really know if Trump “will cause America to turn back to God” by ruining people’s live and out of desperation they see that the only One to trust is God as I don’t think Assad sacrificing human lives for his own power hunger as using toxic gas against the human population is “Assad causing people to turn back to God”. Trump is just one evil actor among many like the “ayatollah” khomeini (who sees himself as the prophecised ‘khorasani’ who creates chaos to bring about the mahdi. They all have their role in bringing upon God’s plan, while still having their own power hungry objectives. And I’m as apolitical as they come, as I’m not from the US so don’t have any horse in the race (rep vs dem) and think politics is just a sham anyway and two sides of the same coin.
And I think the Bible says the opposite, not that America will turn back to God before the AC gets revealed, but the opposite. First the falling away, then the AC revealed:
2 Thessalonians 3-4: “3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it has not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the sanctuary of God, exhibiting himself as being God.”

Remember that teaching about the falling away is based on old, traditional, and wrong teaching on a Roman Antichrist. When everything is realized as Islamic, the falling away – the apostasy – was the Christian world from Morocco to Pakistan (3/4 of the territory of Christianity) was converted to Islam. The falling away must happen before Antichrist appears – but it doesn’t have to be in the decades prior, it can be over fourteen centuries prior. There is no time limit.
And God is systematically removing the cultural idolatries of each of the three major areas of the world. We saw it in China over the last few decades and 200 million Chinese came to Christ. We will see the same thing here when our money and wealth are stripped away by the Second Signpost.
