(22 September 2026) After so many years of watching for the coming of the Second Signpost, it has arrived. The first attack taking out 5 percent of the world’s oil availability happened last weekend on September 11. It was announced that after 9 days there is a partial flow through the east-west pipeline.
As a herald to the Second Signpost, Revelation 6:4 says the rider of the red horse was given power to take away the peace, that is iraynay, the peace of mind, of the earth. Even with oil hovering at “only” $100 per barrel, the picture with diesel is far worse.
Glenn Beck released a 12-minute video worth watching. He explains why diesel is the lifeblood of the world economy, and why prices hitting $6.50 per gallon in the US and $17 per gallon in Europe causes all other things to go up in price.
Beck also explains why oil north of $130 per barrel will cause worldwide economic devastation.
He puts out some statistics on Russian diesel production and how it has been significantly slashed. And yes, Ukraine must stop the attacks on Russian refineries for the good of the world.
Conclusion
Yes, a high oil price would make fuel prices out of sight. But it looks like that doesn’t even need to happen what with diesel itself going up in price out of sight.
I needed to mail a copy of the book to someone on the east coast. UPS 4-day ground delivery charged me $18 just to move a 1-pound book. Fortunately I was able to cover the cost but I’m sure many would not be able to.
And that is just for a book. Say diesel hits $10 per gallon in the US everywhere. Food would still be delivered, but as Beck says between planting it, harvesting it, transporting it, processing it, and shipping it to grocery stores all via diesel, food prices could very well make the average person eat the simplest food.
Sounds like the heralding of the Third signpost doesn’t it?
