IRGC Is Escalating Attacks on Tankers

(12 October 2026) After so many years of watching for the coming of the Second Signpost, it has arrived, as written about here, and in Daniel Revisited.

The IRGC, aka one of the horns of the Persian Ram, is stepping up attacks on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.

This post from six days ago reports that the IRGC attacked twelve tankers in the prior seven days.

However, there are now reports that the IRGC just attacked six more tankers in just 24 hours. Details in the news show, though, that one of the six ships was actually a container ship. Not that that really matters.

Conclusion

Between the attack on the Yanbu pumping station back in September and now increased attacks on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, the regime is making sure that global inventories stay low and fuel prices and fuel availability continue to deteriorate across the globe.

We are still waiting for the next round of escalation in the war either by Iran prior to November 3, or by the US after November 3. It is this escalation that will likely bring on the full Second Signpost with the destruction of much or most of the Arab oil facilities.
