Continue to Keep Your Eyes on Iran

The Second Signpost is coming, the invasion of the Middle East by Iran. It’s next in Bible end-time prophecy.

Though its arrival seems to be taking its time, nothing has changed. Iran is still readying for war.

An article recently came out on Israel’s Haaretz news site serendipitously reminding us of this. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, making remarks about the murder of the Saudi journalist Khashoggi and staying mindful of the big picture in the Middle East, said,

“Blocking Iran is uttermost on our agenda for security, not merely for Israel but I believe for Europe and the world as well.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu may not know specifically of the Second Signpost that is coming, but he is the one world leader who is most closely aware that such a horrific event could happen. And yes, this is a security problem for the world just as Netanyahu has said, because the Second Signpost will likely see the Iranian regime in control of one-quarter of the world’s oil supply.

Some have asked me if Khashoggi’s murder is anything significant to the Four Signposts. My answer is, no it is not.

And just as Netanyahu, as prime minister of Israel, has said stopping Iran is the highest priority for Israel, for us who are watching for the Second Signpost, Iran continues to be the top country to watch for signs of its coming.

Continue to keep your eyes on Iran.

  1. Your new book, “Chronicles of the End Times” arrived at my home recently. I haven’t had time to actually read it all yet… but my first impressions of the book are… very impressive. For those who don’t have the book yet, the size alone (650 pages) is a testament to the many months of study, thought and digging-deep-research put into this volume. Yes, we know we can’t judge a book by it’s cover or number of pages; but my point is a commendation for doing what Paul advised Timothy to do: ‘Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” This book holds much more value for the reader than simply knowing some major future prophetic events: Because when we know the facts and can extrapolate and fit those facts with Scripture mixed with understanding from above, we are also able to avoid believing and thinking wrong things, making wrong assumptions about the future based on those Scriptures. Since there’s considerable dubious conjecture and misinformation in the world of ‘end times’ literature, the new book serves not only as a pencil for taking notes in our minds, but also a pencil with an eraser to get rid of wrong ideas we may have had. So again I commend you for all your hard work, and I expect many people will gain real understanding from it to help guide them forward in the days to come.

  2. you probably know about this, but just in case:

  3. Julie,
Rouhani said that due to the reassertion of sanctions, that Iran is in an “economic war situation.” This is not very different from much of the rhetoric of the past. He is simply saying that the cost and availability of various commodities is like during war.
Were not there yet to the Second Signpost, but undoubtedly there is now going to be more pressure for the Iranian regime to “charge out.”

  4. Giles, see my response to Julie.

  5. with the sanctions, this seems a good time to run out!!! as they begin to really bite…..the question is how much grief will they take before retaliation…..
