To someone who doesn’t know about the Signposts, he or she will likely ignore various news items thinking there is no relation to Bible prophecy. However, knowing the Signposts, many news items synch up with the Signposts and give us more detail as to how the Signposts will unfold.
MEMRI reports of IRGC commanders recently speaking on state-run Iranian TV. They were yet again declaring what they will do if they go to war.
A Shocking Charge by the Ram
Of Iran, the Persian ram, Daniel 8:4 (NASB) tells us, “I saw the ram butting westward, northward, and southward.”
The Persian ram will be charging and butting, and like such an animal, it will shock whatever it strikes.
To that end, Maj. Gen. Salami, deputy commander of the entire IRGC said,
“We have huge stockpiles of ballistic missile systems for all ranges that are ready to be fired at any given moment.”

And Brig. Gen. Hajizadeh, head of the IRGC rocket force said,
“We have thousands of IRGC members who sit around the clock in front of these systems, with their finger on the trigger.”

If these men are not exaggerating too greatly, it looks like there are over 1,000 short and medium range missiles that can be fired on short notice.

Therefore, the front end of the ram’s charge could very well be a missile barrage with one-ton explosive warheads on Saudi Arabian oil fields, on Iraq, on Syria, on any target deemed as strategic by the IRGC.
Help and Rescue Will be Neutralized
Of Iran, the Persian ram, Daniel 8:4 (NASB) further tells us of the ram, “No other beasts could stand before him nor was there anyone to rescue from his power.”
The MEMRI report also states,
“Explaining that the missiles constitute the most important part of Iran’s defense doctrine, the reporter said that many of Iran’s missiles are aimed at American aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf. He added: ‘If the foreigners make any mistake, [the missiles] will burst from the belly of the Earth like lava and will cause a fire that cannot be extinguished.’”
We have confirmation that the missiles are the most important part of their offense. We also have confirmation from earlier reports that US forces would be targeted. If Daniel 8:4 is fulfilled in the near future by Iran’s offense, then it looks like Iran’s barrage of US forces will be successful.
Conclusion
We are now seeing report after report of the IRGC’s plans for their offense.
People who do not know the Signposts will dismiss this as rhetoric from the IRGC. Knowing the Signposts, however, shows this ‘rhetoric’ to possibly be evidence of fulfillment of Daniel 8:4 coming closer, and how the Second Signpost might start.

THE FOUR SIGNPOSTS 
Thanks for your good reporting, Mark. The Middle East trip with Joel is still scheduled for the 2nd and 3rd week of April with a meet and greet w/Joel at the host church within driving distance of St. Louis next month in mid-March. I will only be touring the 2nd week (Jordan) and not the 3rd week (Israel) of the trip. The US sanctions are continuing to bite Iran’s economy significantly. One does have to wonder what exactly will be the “trigger point” to anger Iran so much to conduct this reported “missile barrage” throughout the Middle East and on our US aircraft carriers. Of course, God’s Word does not say what the “triggering mechanism” is just that Iran will charge in three directions.
Perhaps God will be gracious to us specifically on our trip to Jordan and Israel and other believers who are touring Israel this Spring to return safely home before any such Iranian actions begin. I continue to pray for our safety and God’s provision and grace for our overseas trip.

Since Iran’s coming invasion was prophesied of in scripture, the timing of it is under God’s control. Since the Iran-Iraq War of 1980-1988 damaged Iran, when the First Signpost ended in 2011, Iran was not ready to assume its prophesied Second Signpost role. Although it now may be ready, the timing must fit in with God’s purposes in Center Earth, East Earth, and West Earth, which will be affected in different ways by Iran’s invasion. “He’s got the whole world in His hands.”
