THE FOUR SIGNPOSTS 
The interviewer didn’t understand why the Antichrist must be Islamic. The four signposts prior to the reign of the Antichrist will have already been thoroughly Islamic in nature.
Saddam Hussein, who initiated the first signpost, personally chose this flag for Iraq:
Used from 1991-2004, it was very similar to the United Arab Republic (Egypt and Syria) flag of 1958-1961, which had two stars. In 1963, three stars were put in Iraq’s flag to show hope that Egypt, Syria, and Iraq might unite. In 1991, Hussein added the Arabic words “Allahu akbar” meaning “Allah is greater” to show he wanted the three nation union to be thoroughly Islamic.
Has any nation been more thoroughly Islamic than Iran? We will always remain under the banner of Islam and will continue to move on this path.”
Consider Iran’s flag:
The symbol at the center is the 1980 emblem of Iran, a stylized Persian inscription meaning “Allah.” Between the green, white, and red bars the stylized Arabic inscription “Allahu akbar” meaning “Allah is greater” is displayed 22 times (the Islamic Revolution of 1979 began on 22 Bahman in the Iranian calendar).

When the third signpost begins, it is likely that the leader of it, Turkey, will still use its current flag:
Adopted in 1936, it is almost identical to the 1844 flag of the Ottoman Empire (1299-1922).

I was listening to the show and heard Chuck’s disagreement concerning Babylon. There is an interesting parallelism in which wasn’t discussed in terms of where Christ sits. Christ will ultimately sit and reign from Jerusalem. I do think that Babylon has a hub city currently as well that is dethroned. She being a mother can mean both big influence and a point of origin as well. You pointed out some very interesting parallels in the discussion I will add. Christian capitalism should always be in the ministry of an altruistic war chest. Never for hoarding. Not 100% sold on Joel Richardson’s idea yet either.
