The scheduled election of the new Iranian president occurred this past Friday.
The announced winner is—surprise!—Ebrahim Raisi, the man who many see as the top choice to eventually replace Ayatollah Khamenei as the third supreme leader.
With a field of hundreds of candidates whittled down to seven “hard-liners” (those who whole-heartedly support Iran’s supposed mission to spread their Revolution to all Muslim nations), the voter turnout was low.
Assuming the presidency is also a path the current supreme leader took. While Ayatollah Khomeini was supreme leader in the 1980’s, Khamenei was president during the eight years from 1981 to 1989.
Raisi getting the experience being president—though that office has very little decision-making power—can be seen as part of the grooming for the next supreme leader.
So nothing has indeed changed.

Lebanon, home to Iran’s proxy force Hezbollah, was through millennia home to seafaring Phoenicians, who used the cedars of Lebanon to build ships. “And Hiram king of Tyre [in Lebanon] sent messengers to David with cedarwood and carpenters and STONEMASONS, and they built a house for David” (2 Samuel 5:11, emphasis mine). “And Solomon’s builders and Hiram’s builders and the Gebalites [of Lebanon] carved and readied the timber AND THE STONES to build the house [the Temple]” (1 Kings 5:18). When did the Phoenicians acquire masonry skills? The 2021 book Phoenicians: Lebanon’s Epic Heritage by Sanford Holst has the answer. Long before the Temple was built, Phoenicians had migrated from Lebanon to Crete, where they united with Cretians to create the Minoan civilization. Archaeologists have uncovered magnificent stone buildings in Crete. Volcanic and earthquake activity persuaded Minoan Phoenicians to return to Lebanon with their acquired masonry skills, which were employed to help build Solomon’s Temple.
When the Persians of Cyrus conquered enemies of Phoenicia, the king of Tyre showed appreciation. “A great parkland was created at Sidon, with luxurious villas for the use of Persian officials” (Phoenicians, page 285). The difference between Lebanon’s parkland for Persians and today’s Iran Garden in southern Lebanon is that Iran Garden in the Hezbollah stronghold was paid for by Iranians, not Lebanon.

Iranian domination in Lebanon will not last long. Isaiah 29:17-20 in Robert Alter’s translation states:
Surely in just a while,
Lebanon shall turn back into farmland
and the farmland be reckoned as forest.
And the deaf on that day shall hear the book’s words,
and from darkness and gloom the eyes of the blind shall see.
Once more shall the lowly have joy in the LORD,
and the needy exult in Israel’s Holy One.
For the oppressor shall vanish,
the mocker shall cease,
and all those devoted to crime be cut off.
About the time Phoenicians helped build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, they built one to their mother goddess at Kition in Cyprus. Phoenicians, page 6 states: “The great foundation stones of Solomon’s Temple have been removed and their traces completely erased. It is therefore quite possible that this temple in Kition – crafted by Phoenician artisans employing the same methods used on Mount Moriah – is as close as we will ever come to seeing how the Temple of Solomon looked when it stood above the city of Jerusalem.”
The Greek word transliterated “chloros” (Strong’s 5515) is almost always translated “green.” The exception is in Revelation 6:8, where almost all translations render it “pale,” “pale green,” “ashen,” etc. Of the many Bible translations available on https://biblehub.com/, only the 1526 Tyndale translation has it correct, albeit in archaic spelling.

A 2021-06-22 prophecy through Amanda Grace https://amandagrace4him.blogspot.com/2021/06/word-from-lord-june-22nd-2021.html mentions “the green horse” and links “the green horse and its rider” to “green new deals.”
“And the Spirit of the Lord says this day, Watch the EPA and those who profess a coiling deception of global warming and green new deals, for there are untruths and heavy prices to pay woven into such delicacies, that are tempting the minds of those desperate in your nation to give in to a wayward way of thinking that is not of ME, says the Lord of Hosts. For I created the earth, the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, and therefore I know, down to the molecular level, down to the chemical makeups far beyond the periodic table, what the earth and its inward parts are doing, says the Lord. For the periodic table is changing and blackness, darkness, Marxism woven into a deal that is in no way green as those would have you see. Remember the green horse and its rider, says the Lord. There is a connection.”
In her video reading of this https://youtu.be/3z46kJU9Nns at the 15:08 mark when she read “green horse,” she was so used to “pale horse” that she paused to notice the difference before moving on. If this prophecy was of God, He was using it to correct centuries of mistranslations of “chloros” in Revelation 6:8.
The Greek New Testament name Kupros is translated into English by the Latin name Cyprus. That island was the main source of elemental copper (cuprum in the periodic table) for the historical bronze Hellenic empires of Greece and Rome. Cyprus has two mountain ranges, a large one in the Greek area (where elemental copper and copper minerals were mined), and a narrow one along the northern edge of the Turkish area with the capital Nicosia poised between.
The land features of Cyprus may have been alluded to in Zechariah 6:1, which was written prior to the rise of the historical Greek and Roman empires. In the KJV this reads: “And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.” The Hebrew word translated “brass” is Strong’s 5178 “nechosheth” meaning copper or anything made from copper or copper alloy. But in this case, with land features mentioned, it could allude to the island that had been a source of copper long before Zechariah 6:1 was written. Although Zechariah did not mention Kittim, a Hebrew name for Cyprus, the directions that the four chariots of Zechariah 6:5-6 went suggest a central physical location to move out from. The Jewish Study Bible at Zechariah 6:5-6 reads [my comments in brackets]: “Those [the four chariots of horses] are the four winds of heaven coming out after presenting themselves to the Lord of all the earth. The one with the black horses is going out to the region of the north [Turkey]; the white ones have gone out to what is west from them [Albania]; the spotted ones have gone to the region of the south [Egypt]; and the dappled ones have gone out…” To this a note is added: “Emendation yields ‘the bay ones will go out to the region of the east [Syria].'” For his translation of this passage, Robert Alter commented: “The received text has ha’amutsim, ‘the spotted ones,’ but this is a synonym for ‘the dappled ones,’ who have already been accounted for, and the red horses seem to have disappeared. The translation therefore reads ha’adumim, ‘the red ones.'” Turkey, Albania, Egypt, and Syria were all parts of the historical bronze Hellenic empires of Greece and Rome. Their modern Islamic manifestations are poised north, west, south, and east of Cyprus, the copper island with its capital poised between two mountain ranges. Turkey, Albania, Egypt, and Syria may be the four countries prophesied of in Daniel 7:6, which in the KJV reads: “After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.”

Zechariah 1:8 portrays a divine presence among myrtle trees. Zechariah 6:1 portrays a divine presence between mountains (the Troodos and Kyrenia ranges of Cyprus?) of copper. After millennia of mining, most of Cyprus’s copper has been removed. Yet Hellenic Copper Mines is still producing 99.999% copper there.

Daniel 2:32-33 KJV: “This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.”
Zechariah 6:1 KJV: “And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.”
Does the Aramaic word for brass in Daniel 2:32 correspond to the Hebrew word for brass in Zechariah 6:1? In the Hebrew and Chaldee [Aramaic] Dictionary, toward the end of Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, are these entries:
5174 Aramaic nechash (meaning copper but translated brass in the KJV) has 9 occurrences (all in Aramaic Daniel chapters 2-7).
5178 Hebrew nechosheth (meaning copper but translated brass in the KJV) has 140 occurrences (including Daniel 10:6 and Zechariah 6:1).
Most English translations have both 5174 and 5178 as bronze or brass (both alloys of copper). The 1535 Coverdale translation of Daniel 2:32 reads: “The ymage heade was of fyne golde, his brest and armes off syluer, his body ad loynes were off copper, his legges were off yron, his fete were parte off yron, and parte of earth.” In the metal sequence gold-silver-bronze-iron, why would only copper be translated as an alloy of it, when the other metals also have alloys but are only listed by their dominant element? By translating both the Aramaic nechash and the Hebrew nechosheth as brass, the KJV translators indicated that they are the same metal.
