Day 38 Oil Blocked: Second Signpost Held Off?

(7 April 2026) It is now 10 pm MST April 7, or, 5 AM GMT, April 8. As of now, the Strait of Hormuz has been blocked for 38 days, from any traffic that the regime does not approve of.

The idea of the Second Signpost having started March 2 is still in play.

Second Signpost Delayed

This news story reports that Trump has announced a two-week delay in planned military strikes in Iran, due to peace overtures from the IRGC via Pakistani Prime Minister Sharif.

The statement reads,

“If attacks against Iran are halted, our Powerful Armed Forces will cease the defensive operations.

“For a period of two weeks, safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be possible via coordination with Iran’s Armed Forces and with due consideration of technical limitations.”

And with no attacks on Iran, the IRGC supposedly won’t attack Arab Gulf oil infrastructure.

Conclusion

Is this another story from Trump? Unlikely, for the Pakistani PM is involved in this ceasefire.

Are we looking at this whole 6-week “war” not being the Second Signpost? Maybe.

Is this a delay tactic by the IRGC? Again, maybe.

I am thankful that attacks on Iran and responses by the IRGC are delayed at least a few days (again, maybe).

Keep watch.

a little break before the next round second sign post is not stopping just because it’s a little break after everyone analyzes Iran in the next couple of weeks they’ll find out that they’ve gained a lot of standing in the world and are becoming great.

  2. Hello brother, I used to look at coming days of tribulation with excitement ,knowing that afterward our Lord will end all this wickedness but I am starting to feel menu prepared. In addition we don’t have spare cash to buy gold or silver. What are teachers like yourself advising people like us to do? How do we not become like what prophecy says , “men’s hearts will fail them because of fear”. ?

    Thank you for your response!

  3. Hi Becky,
Great question, and one I’ve seen several times before.
My answer is this: It’s two-sided. We are not to test the Lord and so we who can prepare should prepare and not procrastinate. But those who cannot prepare, then cannot. Either way, each of us must test our hearts to see if there are any idols higher than Christ. Christ must be your foundation, your mission, being surrendered to Him. This is why God said, “Come out of her my people.” Christians who have idols higher than Christ are told what the penalty is in that same passage.
So, in the end, those who cannot physically prepare will run out of supplies sooner than those who can prepare, but either way, we will all eventually run out. And that’s where total reliance and faith in Christ is all important.
So for now, just follow Him every day, stay repentant, stay surrendered, learn to depend on Him per Philippians 4:6-7, and learn who He is and how He takes care of you. Matthew 6:33 is also a promise from God. I fully expect all Christ followers at some point whether the Second Signpost or the Great Tribulation, to be fully reliant on His miracles for provision.
And in the early stages God will undoubtedly provide for those who cannot provide for themselves, by using those who can provide. Those of us who can store up, must be obedient to Matthew 25:31-46.
Incidentally, yes, I grow much of our own food and have a large chicken coop, but I fully expect to provide for neighbors and dear brothers and sisters in our churches, so God can let me be a blessing to them.
    I hope this helps.

shovels and food practical things like shovels for an example, things that people will need, keep 3 to 6 months of food on hand so if things do really get really bad you may help the brother and sister in Christ.. as well like job trust in the providence of God.

  5. Mark, I have tried to follow most of your posts. If I have missed this answer somewhere, I apologize. But when does the 3.5 years of peace appear in the signpost theology table? Have we already entered it?
    sharon

  6. Hi Sharon,
I don’t write about that here, but I have touched on a related topic in my book Hidden Babylon, chapter 12.
The 3.5 years you mention, likely refers to the first half of the seventieth week, after the Fourth and last Signpost.
However, there is no scriptural basis for 3.5 years of peace. Its all based on Israel making the covenant with the Antichrist. But this is wrong. Most popular teaching today is wrong because it is based on the guesses made centuries ago, long before Daniel 12 said the prophetic message is unsealed. A big reason teaching is wrong stems from the Roman Antichrist.
As for the Signposts: The Second Signpost will be war. The Third begins with war. The Fourth is only war. The first half the Tribulation will be the time the Antichrist grows and consolidates his empire by conquering Europe and Africa, ,so that will have war, too.
The only peace will be in Israel which has recovered from war following the Second Signpost. From the Third Signpost to the middle of the Tribulation, Israel will be at rest.
Also, Jesus said “peace and safety” (1 Thess. 5:3, Matt. 24:38) just before His return which is the last half of the Tribulation in which people living in most of Antichrist’s empire will not be worrying about Christ returning.
Does this help? You have touched on a topic that needs much study.
