(21 April 2026) It is now 10 pm MST April 21, or, 5 AM GMT, April 22. As of now, the Strait of Hormuz has been blocked for 52 days.
The idea of the Second Signpost having started March 2 is still in play.
Jiang On Trump’s Wars
Remember Professor Jiang? He’s the high school history and gaming theory teacher who predicted that attacking Iran would be a disaster for the West (i.e. predicting the Second Signpost), and that Iran will win the war.
He has connected some more dots again, presenting the possibility that Trump isn’t blundering with Iran, but that he is some sort of genius who is manipulating the sources of oil in the world so that all nations have to come to North America to get their oil. His video is very interesting.
By going after Canadian oil, Venezuelan oil, Greenland, and now shutting down the Strait of Hormuz, would create “Greater North America” in which maybe one-third of all oil in the world
The petrodollar wouldn’t die, the $39 trillion debt wouldn’t be a problem, and Americans would have all the cheap oil they need.
And I could see how Trump might actually have a bigger picture like this in mind when attacking Iran especially after having secured Venezuela’s oil.
That Pesky Second Signpost
There are a few things that might get in the way of these grandiose plans, as good as they may be for America but hard on many third world nations.
First is the Second Signpost itself if the Bible interpretation is true. Iran destroying all the Arab oil infrastructure so one-quarter of the world’s oil is permanently removed from production, would keep prices permanently high ($200 per barrel or higher) impacting economies. Then there would be a race condition in which the new oil sales from North America would have to counter the dying petrodollar centered on the Middle East.
Second, the rolling war to come in the Middle East of the Second, Third, and Fourth Signposts, which in the end will cause a re-united Islamic Realm to come together under one ruler, would form a new political and economic bloc ready to oppose China and/or America.
And third, there is always the possibility that China and Russia begin WW3 putting all of America’s plans on hold.
Conclusion
Regardless of what Trump thinks he is doing, if the Second Signpost is the true interpretation, then it is the sovereign will of God to let the Second Signpost happen with all its misery and making everyone poor.

THE FOUR SIGNPOSTS 
Glad to see Jiang catching up with the rest of us. I don’t have time to read his stuff, but the other big variable is Trump removing the sanctions on Russian oil. Russia is what, the 3rd largest producer? There’s a lot of their oil stranded on tankers, the shadow fleet, around the world. I posted here on this aspect in relation to the Putin/Trump Alaskan meeting last summer. Obviously Trump gave Putin a heads up then, because Russia greatly increased their production in the meantime.
One has to be careful to not get sucked into the enemedia Trump Derangement Syndrome or you will never know what is really going on. Remember the primary Trump principle – ‘take him seriously, not literally”. The enemedia and democratics continously fall for this.

Mark: You have speculated in the past that America will have only 42 presidents (https://foursignposts.com/2023/05/19/theory-of-42-still-holds-for-us-and-uk/). Do you have any speculations as to how the the current Hormuz crisis will affect this theory? Can you see Trump’s miscalculations actually ending the United States?

Good question. I think I had said, if you look at that article again, that the US would change in form. It changed in form from democratic republic to oligarchy at the end of Trump’s first term. When he came back it had come back as its old form, the democratic republic.
So to answer your question (and I was going to make a post on this at some point but the news had taken over and this topic is pure speculation), when Trump leaves, the US will change its form again, maybe to something worse than had happened in 2020.
I believe that if the Second signpost emerges in its full form with Iran destroying the Arab oil facilities and the petrodollar being ended, and everybody’s lives being upset due to high prices, that many more than the Left will have Trump impeached and removed from office. That will be the end of leader #42, and at that point the US changes.
How might it change? Maybe the Left gets the upper hand in government, stacks the supreme court, adds Puerto Rico and DC as states, and they cheat big time as well and are the one party in power. Or perhaps if they do this, the Right starts a civil war.
None of this is pretty. Nothing good can come from the US changing its form. All I can say that I think will happen per my book Hidden Babylon is that the US will sink into grinding poverty as God takes away our cultural idol so that millions come to Christ.
Regarding the UK, I think the writing is on the wall. When Charles III leaves office, or rather when the Muslim armies have him removed as sovereign, Britain becomes a Muslim country based on Sharia law.
I have checked some state constitutions of red states and sadly some prohibit seceding. Those clauses were written into their constitutions at a time when no one could have imagined that communism would take over a political party and steal elections. Conservative states thought it would always be a choice between high taxes and low taxes or joining labor unions, not locking up home schoolers or people refusing to believe lies.
