(4 May 2026) It is now 10 pm MST May 4, or, 4 AM GMT, May 5. As of now, the Strait of Hormuz has been blocked for 65 days.
The idea of the Second Signpost having started March 2 is still in play. And it will remain in play until the regime is completely disbanded, or until the Ram runs out across the Middle East.
Aside from Trump’s “Project Freedom” (which is the plan to attempt to escort out the cargo and tanker ships bottled up in the Persian Gulf since March 2) and a war of words between the US and Iran, not much is happening today.
Earlier this evening I was at a local Christian prayer meeting. One person made a bold proclamation that God is using Trump to bring America back to God. Hearing that, I thought, “hmm . . .” And something clicked.
I’ve heard many Christians talk about how Trump is becoming more Christian, and he will directly cause our country to come back from the brink and move back to God. This may be true, or not, I don’t know.
The simple fact is, though, that people don’t get caught up in revival and commit to Christ until they have nothing. In this society here in America where there is plenty, America won’t be turning to God.
However, that person is right, and that is exactly what God is doing, I believe. It’s just not going to happen in the way many in America’s sleepy Church thinks so.
Here is a scenario for consideration.
You see, God allowed those around Trump to support his attacking Iran and unknowingly triggering the Second Signpost, allowing the Iranian regime to cut off the oil, driving up prices.
Then, with Iran destroying all the Arab oil facilities sometime in our future, and thus killing what was left of the petrodollar, economic conditions here in America would badly deteriorate.
Now, with Trump still in office to 2028, or being driven from office, doesn’t matter in the big picture.
This is because when everyone here is poor and can’t get enough to eat, then what Corrie Ten Boom once said will be very true. She said, “Most people do not realize Jesus is all you need until Jesus is all you have.”
With abject poverty all around, that is when revival will hit America.
The American church right now simply needs to be mentally prepared and ready to disciple those millions who would turn to Christ.
In the end, America could still come back to Christ, just in the middle of misery rather than in caviar dreams.

Be ready to be salt and light to all who are around you, in no uncertain terms.
