Second Signpost in September . . . Or Tomorrow (Day 103)

(11 June 2026) It is now 9 pm MST June 11, or, 3 AM GMT, June 12. We have been watching world and Mideast events, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost. It started with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and may culminate with a full boot-on-the-ground invasion by Iran of much of the Middle East.

The Strait has been closed to normal traffic for 103 days. That’s 103 days of draining 12 to 15 million barrels of oil from the world, per day.

September or Now

President Trump is doing his “maybe now,” “maybe later” announcements keeping both friends and foes back on their heels.

Trump earlier said he would have the US attack and occupy Kharg Island. And it looked to be today, for a while, that the attack would occur. In other words, the Second Signpost would begin in earnestness today since the IRGC has promised to destroy the remainder of the Arab oil facilities if Iran is invaded by the US.

Then, Trump reversed his stance according to this report, saying that a deal is imminent, and that Iran agreed not to pursue nukes, and so the attack is off. In other words, the Second Signpost would begin in September, when the weather is cooler, and global inventories of oil are empty.

Conclusion

We really don’t know when the Second Signpost will begin. It could be anywhere from now to the September timeframe.

In the meantime, countries around the world will continue to slip into more and more unease, as extra oil inventories dry up.

Use each day to better prepare, whether spiritually or physically. Now is a poor time to procrastinate.

Keep watch.

  1. Trump has now said that a deal will be signed very soon for 38 times already. 38 times it proved to be not true.
These statements are clearly not meant for Iran. I think they are meant to keep the West in general, and the US public, hopeful and not too serious about what is coming, to keep oil & energy prices low. But his words have less and less impact. Ever more journalists stop taking Trumps words seriously.

Trump has also uttered many threats to Iran, this Kharg thing being the latest. These threats clearly are meant for Iran. Most of the time Trump has reversed or postponed them. For that reason Iran too takes his words ever less seriously.

Whatever Trumps personal motives to say all these things are, the effects of his words are delays and postponements while keeping some people on edge and many others asleep.

Ultimately it is neither Trump nor the IRGC who set the dates for things to come. Not even satan can do that. God is in charge, He must decide to allow things to happen. I like what Mark sometimes writes, that this is to give those who are awake time to prepare, and to awaken more people.

But I have only very few people in my circles of friends and acquaintances who even take the energy / materials / fertiliser crisis seriously. Only a few prepare.
I am dismayed that so few European media report on the crisis in Asia. Nobody here knows anything, no matter how many hundreds of millions of people in Asia have a hard time already for over two months. Only very few dare now hint that this crisis will reach Europe eventually, and the public has no interest. Only short-sighted self-interest, not even real self-interest…

Yesterday Fatih Birol of the IEA was in the Netherlands. He again warned that the strategic reserves are getting low and that the international oil markets will be in the red zone at the end of this month of June, that is only 2-3 weeks from now. He warned that it is already hell for Pakistan, Bhangla Desh and Nepal, and very difficult for India. He also indicated that European governments are not blind to this, but that the public will not accept it if governments would impose frugality measures now. For that, the fuel prices have to skyrocket first.

While I a have a few friends who take the present things seriously and prepare, not even they believe that things around the Gulf might become even worse because the infrastructure might be damaged further. And an Iranian invasion? I hardly dare even mention that.

By the way, the destruction of the infrastructure around the Gulf by Iranian missiles and drones need not be followed immediately by the Iranian invasion with ground troops. The rockets etc work whether it is hot or not. And then the world economy / finance / politics deterioration will accelerate, making the second signpost even easier, if the IRGC can keep its patience. And patience, Iran shows already for dozens of years that they have plenty of that.

  2. @Adamant, if nothing else, maybe go ahead and buy a few copies to give to people so they can read it for themselves and make up their own minds. Then they’ll at least have had the chance. If they don’t believe it, that’s not on you. All you can do is your best.
