(18 June 2026) It is now 10 pm MST June 18, or, 4 AM GMT, June 19.
We have been watching world and Mideast events surrounding the closure of the Strait of Hormuz by the IRGC.
The Strait has been closed to normal traffic for 110 days. Marinetraffic.com shows very little traffic at this point in time.
The idea of the Second Signpost having started March 2 (with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz) is still in play. And it will remain in play and then either be disproved when the regime is completely disbanded, or will be confirmed when the Ram runs out across the Middle East.
Retired Col. MacGregor was interviewed again today. He gave an excellent summary of where things are at economically and geopolitically.
Funny side note, at this time in the video, he says it’s not the end of the world. But that’s exactly what this is all part of.
Conclusion
Here is the situation with the Second Signpost.
The fertilizer shortage and coming famine are “baked in.”
The Iran War could restart any time due to Israel attacking Lebanon or Iran attacking whomever.
Don’t get complacent or procrastinate—oil and fuel will continue to dry up and go up in price in August and then September.
Watch for the September to November timeframe as a possible time of invasion, with Iran on the Mideast, or the US on Iran.
Strengthen your faith muscle with Philippians 4:6, and disciple newer believers to do so. It is good to watch God work in your life especially before the crap hits the fan.
Keep watch.

Mark,
You said Russia could attack Europe and cause the US to get into a war because of NATO treaties, but Europe is already in breach of its NATO treaty obligations.
The IRGC has been creating clandestine cells in Iraq to conduct drone attacks on Gulf countries hosting U.S. forces. These cells bypass established militia networks, reporting directly to the IRGC to avoid detection. Between April 20 and May 17, 2026, these cells launched at least seven drone attacks from desert areas near Basra and Samawa, targeting Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
At present, 3–4 cells are known, each with ~10 elite Iraqi Shi’ite fighters, some drawn from the Islamic Resistance in Iraq (an umbrella of hardline Shi’ite factions). They launch from desert locations near Basra and Samawa (southern Iraq). In this way the IRGC adapts to preserve Iran’s regional influence amid diminished proxy groups (e.g., Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis) and depleted military/economic resources.
The rationales of this new tactic:
– Plausible deniability: Avoid blame for established Iraqi militias.
– Reduce pressure on Baghdad to disarm Iran-aligned groups.
– Efficiency: Smaller, more radical, tightly controlled groups prioritising loyalty and operational impact over mass recruitment.

At least 25 ships moved through the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday 18th, including 14 tankers, higher than the average of recent weeks and a sign that some operators were feeling more confident, according to Kpler, a maritime data company. Traffic was still far below typical levels before the war, when about 130 vessels per day moved through the strait. Some large cargo vessels also started to leave.

However, Israel keeps bombing Lebanon and the talks between the US and Iran in Switzerland are cancelled. So traffic through the Strait of Hormuz already thinned early on Friday June 19th, with no tankers seen moving outbound from the Persian Gulf on Friday morning.
“The immediate collapse of the first scheduled negotiation round represents a setback to regional stabilisation efforts,” maritime risk company Marisks said Friday in a note to clients seen by Bloomberg News. “Unless diplomatic engagement resumes, the security environment is likely to remain volatile, with maritime stakeholders facing continued uncertainty.”

This was downloaded on You Tube around 9am EST. Looks likes the Strait is closing again
