The Regime Wins the War and Is Set for Second Signpost (Day 109)

(17 June 2026) It is now 10 pm MST June 17, or, 4 AM GMT, June 18. The Strait has now been closed to normal traffic for 109 days. Though the peace deal, or MOU, is to be signed on Friday June 19, marinetraffic.com still shows no oil or cargo traffic yet going through the Strait.

We will still count the days of the closure until the Strait is re-opened, as the opening phase of the Second Signpost has likely started. The days of closure are a measure of how much oil has been removed from global inventories (12 to 15 million barrels multiplied by however many days of the closure).

The Regime Wins the War

This video from Canadian Prepper summarizes the current situation well.

This analysis summarizes the reasons why the regime has actually come out better now than before the war.

The major points are – –

1) Iran didn’t lose anything on giving up nukes because it was never seriously pursuing them.

2) A $300 billion investment fund set up for reparations to Iran. Two notes here about that: historically the loser pays reparations to the winner, and who can guarantee that the regime won’t use the money for the war effort.

3) The regime now controls the Strait of Hormuz and can close it at will whenever it wants.

The articles says,

“The country’s regime has acquired a powerful new ability to hurt the global economy as a result of the war.

4) The regime’s missile cities have escaped relatively unscathed. As the article says,

“Iranian officials even stated that many of their missile cities did not even need to be tapped during the war because the US and Israel failed to put a significant enough dent into the main operational ones being used: A second person close to the Islamic regime argued the depth of many sites rendered them largely immune to conventional aerial bombardment. He said some were not even used during the war because numerous other facilities remained operational.”

The evidence, of course, is that Iran continues to attack via missile or drone, here and there.

5) A Khorasan paper stated about the MOU’s purpose for the regime is, “Its real function is to postpone the final and decisive battle that will determine the current victor.”

6) Iran was able to outlast the global oil inventory of 1.2 billion barrels being emptied. The US SPR is getting close to scraping the bottom of the barrel, literally.

Factors Still Baked In

The coming crop shortage is still coming this fall.

The global oil inventory will not be refilled for years.

The Trap of Second Signpost Is Set

The second horseman is a herald of the Second Signpost. Peace of mind has been taken from the earth to some extent. India has started rationing fuel as this Canadian Prepper video says.

Iran could lash out at any time and destroy the Arab oil infrastructure, starting the next phase of the Second Signpost.

Mark your calendars for September as Iran might not invade the Middle East until then when it is cooler, or mark your calendars for November when Trump might start the war again after the midterms as he might till want to remove the regime.

The trap is that all these factors abound while most people in the west are thinking that things have gone back to normal. But any delving into these issues will show that things are not what they seem.

Prepare. We might have all summer and then that’s it.

Keep watch.
