Gittin’ While the Gittin’s Good

(22 June 2026) It is now 10 pm MST June 22, or, 4 AM GMT, June 23. We have been watching world and Mideast events, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost.

The Strait of Hormuz was closed for 112 days. It has now been open for two days.

The US had its naval blockade stand down while the peace talks continue.

On the meantime, as this report shows, the regime is wasting no time getting tankers full of oil out of the Gulf, through the Strait, and through what was the US blockade.

Three Iranian tankers holding six million barrels of oil, are on the move. As they said in old westerns, Iran is “gittin’ while the gittin’s good.”

Conclusion

In order to keep the oil industry afloat and just above the danger zone for depleting the global reserves, this is a good sign.

If things stay the way they are, we might very well have until this fall to finish preparations.

Ask the Lord if you should stock up on groceries, as the coming famine is baked in.

Keep watch.

(P.S. – Anyone have anything to report for the Global June Eirene Report?)

  1. Mark: Assuming the Straight stays open for a awhile could the price of oil drop considerably seeing as how that if the Gulf states don’t get rid of stored oil they will have to shut down production. Could they practically give away their oil (at least in the short term) to avoid permanent damaged to the oil rigs. I’m sure tankers would rush into the Gulf to get $50 per barrel oil. Is this possible? As you say, “Get while the gettin’s good”.

  2. Karl,
Yes, the price could drop back to pre-war levels or even lower, for a time, for the reasons you give.
