Tanker Hits Mine, Houthis Hit Saudi Oil

(27 July 2026) It is now 10 pm MST July 27, or, 4 AM GMT, July 28. We have been watching events centered on Iran and its regime, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost. We have been watching since February 28.

The Strait of Hormuz has been closed for 149 days. A few oil tankers in the Strait were fired upon by the regime, and caught fire.

Two Stories

Newsmax reports that an oil tanker struck an Iranian mine on Sunday.

The Enforcer reports several hits by the Houthis on Saudi oil infrastructure in the last 24 hours. The list of attacks is given from time 00:00 to 09:30.

Conclusion

We are reminded that one of the reasons the Strait is closed is due to Iran’s mines.

Though Iran has stopped its attacks on Arab countries, the Houthis in Yemen are keeping up the slow wearing down of Saudi oil infrastructure.

Keep watch.
