(13 August 2026) It is now 10 pm MST August 13, or, 4 AM GMT, August 14. We have been watching events centered on Iran and its regime, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost.
We have been watching since February 28. The Strait of Hormuz has been closed since March 2, and has been so for 165 days.
Iran’s Strategy Leading Up To Second Signpost
The Iranian regime as been biding its time letting the world oil reserves drain.
They do this by keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed.
The reason they do this is so when they strike the Arab oil facilities, cutting off one-quarter of the world’s oil production, that would provide maximum shock to the world economy as there will be no cushion (except in China).
The timing of this oil production destruction would be ahead of Iran’s ground invasion of the Middle East Muslim nations, and hence the Second Signpost.
News from Canadian Prepper
Canadian Prepper connected the dots. From time 12:28 to 16:32, he talks about Iran’s strategy to drain the world’s oil reserves. He just doesn’t know why because he doesn’t know the Signposts.
Toward the beginning of the video he reported that Iran hit two more ships in the Strait of Hormuz to keep it closed.
At 15:40 he mentions this would result in the death of the petrodollar.
Other News
ZeroHedge reports the carrier USS George Washington sailing past Singapore right now to replace the USS Abraham Lincoln which has been out to sea for a grueling nine months.
Davis Asked the Most Important Question
In this Deep Dive video, at time 00:23, Davis asks about all the things going on with Iran, “Where is this going?”
Conclusion
It looks like the timeline for the Second Signpost is being solidified.
The world’s extra oil runs out by September 1.
The cooler weather for an invasion of the Middle East would start in October-November.
Therefore, the window opens to the benefit of Iran for the regime to destroy the Arab oil September 1, leaving a few weeks of economic chaos to force the US military out of the Middle East (due to spending and fuel shortages) before Iran’s invasion.
I would say the window for the Arab oil attack closes perhaps as October arrives.
Of course the attack could come before or after September, but September seems to be it.
God help us all.
Keep watch.

If I were the IRGC, I would do what you describe above. Missiles and drones in September, then prepare everything for the invasion, like mobilising all of the Bashi, while the US is withdrawing. And then invade while the world is reeling from the oil shortages and the final realisation that the shortages are finally there, and are there to stay.
Only China’s oil reserves are still so vast that they can mitigate shortages of crude oil, which they are still doing as of today by importing less than before. But after the destruction of the Gulf infrastructure they probably will conclude that they need every drop they can get and rejoin the struggle on the oil market for the remaining oil. They can use their vast Dollar reserves for that, to buy oil at any price. This would worsen the shortages for everybody else, and by China flooding the world economy with Dollars, the Dollar will go down.
We must not forget that not only we see Gods hand in the fact that Iran is still standing. The IRGC must have been dismayed by the weakening of Hamas and Hezbollah, the fall of the Assad regime, and the killing of nearly all their leadership. Maybe some of them even started to doubt whether Allah was indeed with them. But now, them still standing, the US & Israel having failed, and the World Economy at their mercy, their religious fervour must be grander than ever. They will believe their invasion will be blessed by Allah and succeed, irrespective of the new coalition of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey.
Meanwhile:
– Russia attacks the grain port of Odessa and Ukrainian grain ships, and so blocking all the Ukrainian food export to the world. This is so serious that Ukraine now proposes a new Black-Sea truce.
– The heat and drought in Europe keep damaging not only the fall harvest, but the whole economy. Rivers are all but dry, fewer ships can use them, and those few with only 20% of their normal loads.
One after the other, nuclear power plants are shut down because they no longer have enough water for cooling.
Companies providing drinking water from rivers are getting concerned. They fear the drought wil continue well into december.
– El Nino is developing at record pace, and is still in the race to become the worst one in 150 years.
Slowly more journalists and analysts connect more and more of all the dots. Higher-than-ever food prices are now predicted in Europe this fall. Some even whisper about everything together bringing the world food situation in uncharted territory.
don’t think it’ll be september 1 nor completely initiated by Iran, since they know that the SPR and the IEAI reserves are slowly emptied, they see this as increasing their leverage on the world economy thus the US. They won’t just invade first to have their completely oil and energy grid (which fuels their internal IRGC economy and the pockets of the higher ups) destroyed. They always play the long game, more time goes by and world economy slowly collapses month by month. They are waiting on the US to make a move:
what they may do is small attacks on us bases and gulf oil and gas refinieries, ports, ships, to provocate the us into attacking before the midterms. The US is in a tough spot.
@Mij
“They won’t just invade first to have their completely oil and energy grid (which fuels their internal IRGC economy and the pockets of the higher ups) destroyed.”
True, profit motive is at work among some of the remaining IRGC leadership, but then ask yourself, fill their pockets with what? If even the most profit-motivated, as opposed to sheer religious zealotry-motivated, of the IRGC commanders see for themselves that the USD is weakening from oil-market stress and general global economic upset, then if they want to keep filling their pockets with something worthwhile they’ll have to de-dollarize their wealth if they had been using the dollar up until then. Events could still force their hand even if they would have preferred to keep on making money above anything else.
I keep thinking about why the US won’t use nukes. As other have discussed if we did use nukes that would give the Russians and Chinese, et al the moral permission to nuke on us (and or Taiwan or Ukraine). If THEY used nukes first we couldn’t use nukes at all because D.C. and the nuclear football would be gone. Since Iran will attack freely I think it is logical to assume that Trump is gone or the football is gone. Trump couldn’t leave behind a last military will and testament as it were. Is my logic in error?
Karl,
No, no error in logic. I believe the days of missiles arcing over the poles with 30-minute warnings are over. Russia has some amazing capabilities.
Russia could position its subs at the end of the continental shelves off the US coast, and take out Washington/Pentagon, downtown Manhattan, various coastal intelligence facilities, and the sonar networks talking to our subs, in just 100 seconds flat, with their Kinzal hypersonic cruise missiles that cover one mile per second.
We wouldn’t even know we are under attack until the boom. Simultaneously the various foreign militias in this country could sabotage the grid as well as possibly take out military targets deep in US territory.
Do you think that Trump would have an equivalent of a”dead hand switch” that the Soviets had during the Cold War?
Secondarily, although I like JD Vance, I don’t see him as smart as Trump. Even though Trump was strategically wrong on Iran, I think Trump can play six moves ahead (given the right spititual and intellegence information) in 3D chess. I can’t see Vance doing that.
