(21 August 2026) It is now 10 pm MST August 21, or, 4 AM GMT, August 22. We have been watching events centered on Iran and its regime, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost.
We have been watching since February 28. The Strait of Hormuz has been closed since March 2, and has been so for 172 days.
In the Arabian Sea, at the end of the 2,000-mile-long supply line from Diego Garcia, the USS George Washington arrived to replace the USS Abraham Lincoln.
A Possible Scenario
Canadian Prepper speaks frankly about connecting dots with the aircraft carriers movements and the Indo-Pacific region now having no active carrier.
He believes that just before the Lincoln leaves the area there might be an escalation.
At time 05:45 he says,
“I’m really confident that we are about to see something before the Abe Lincoln leaves. Now, I could be wrong. Maybe they only need two aircraft carriers and they’re going to use a combination if they use nukes and they don’t even need probably any aircraft carriers.”
There has been talk on certain news venues of the Trump administration using nukes on Iran. However, Iran said they would retaliate.
This may sound crazy (of course what doesn’t these days with the US losing a war too Iran) but it is possible that if the US military detonates one or more nukes inside Iran, for any reason, Iran might take out an aircraft carrier?
Conclusion
Since the world seems to be on a path to the Second Signpost with greater than 90 percent certainty in my opinion, this exchange of a nuke for an aircraft carrier seems plausible.
The question is when. It seems the Lincoln will be leaving the area within days. Perhaps that’s all the time there is before we see a great escalation.
