(24 August 2026) It is now 11 pm MST August 24, or, 5 AM GMT, August 25. We have been watching events centered on Iran and its regime, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost.
We have been watching since February 28. The Strait of Hormuz has been closed since March 2, and/or under the control of the Iranian regime. After 175 days looks like it is opening back up.
Stopping the Count
And it is here at 175 days we will stop the count of the days, for some days it opens a bit, and other days it closes again. The world oil inventory is drained, and so the Strait is like a valve keeping the oil inventory above zero but not much above.
Another Messiah Seeker
In Daniel Revisited chapter 10, there is mentioned the Twelver Shia regime that wants to do the Second Signpost to bring out the Mahdi, their messiah, our Antichrist.
Now I have learned of a definite second group seeking to bring out their messiah from our old friend “Professor” Jiang. Its a long video, but at time 41:05 Jiang talks about Netanyahu’s visit with a certain rabbi.
The Chabad-Lubavitch movement, led by a Rabbi (or, Rebe) Schneerson until his death in 1994, spoke briefly with a 40-year-old Benjamin Netanyahu in 1990.
Here is the video on YouTube. The Rabbi tells Netanyahu,
“Moshiach [messiah] still hasn’t come . . . so do something to hasten his coming.”
Netanyahu sought out this Rabbi who lived in Brooklyn, when Netanyahu was on one of his annual trips to the UN. Apparently is a religious leader for Netanyahu.
Now, while Israel seems to have goaded the US into helping them attack Iran, one cannot but help think that PM Netanyahu is doing this to attempt to bring out his messiah.
Conclusion
Twelver Shia Muslims think they are bringing out their messiah, but he will be the Antichrist. The Fourth Signpost bears this out.
Orthodox Jews of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement think they are bringing out their messiah by attacking Iran, Lebanon, and Gaza. Funny thing is, Israel has triggered the Second Signpost and so their Messiah will truly come, but it will be Jesus, Yeshua, whom their fathers pierced and crucified, who will arrive after the Great Tribulation, which is triggered after the Third and Fourth Signposts, after the Second Signpost.
Sounds like the plot to a movie.
Reality keeps getting weirder and weirder in these end times.

This resurfaced memory then helped me to take your ideas seriously, and keeping tabs on it through this blog.
There is also the possibility that the Mahdi will be the false prophet and make everyone worship the beast and his image.

You reminded me of a chapter I wrote in Chronicles of the End Times, in which all the end-time era “kings” of the seven nations in Daniel 7, all echo in the same way the ancient kings of those same ancient kingdoms in the Daniel 2 image. Its crazy.
Saddam echoes Nebuchadnezzar in four distinct ways – (1) Built Babylon, (2) A cult of image, (3) Absolute power over life and death of his subjects, and (4) found along a river bank looking like an animal.
The supreme leader echoes the Persian kings in that a law once made cannot be reversed.
And all four leaders of Turkey, Syria, Egypt and Albania all echo the leaders of the bronze: Thracia, Syria, Egypt, Epirus.
And the Mahdi will echo Mohammad.
