Why Second Signpost May Have Just Begun

(13 September 2026) This post is a follow-up to the ALERT put out earlier this morning about how the Second Signpost may have begun. This may be another false alarm, or it may be the real deal. One thing I do know is, this is the first time I can actually say, “I think the Second Signpost might actually be starting now.”

The Second Signpost—What Is It?

The Second Signpost is part of the larger Signpost framework which is a theory of interpretation of Biblical prophetic passages. Daniel 7, Daniel 8, and Revelation 6:1-8 make up the Four Signposts in this framework.

The First Signpost, the changing of Iraq’s government from something brutal to something more civilized was fulfilled in 2003-2005.

The Second Signpost has been next for the last 20 years and consists of two parts: (a) Iran will take away the peace of mind of the entire earth which translates into making oil and fuel scarcer and higher in price so people can’t provide food or a living for their families, and (b) Iran will invade with boots on the ground the many Muslim nations of the Middle East, forcing them all to be Twelver Shias.

The Second Signpost is explained fully in Daniel Revisited, chapter 10.

The Persian Ram of Daniel 8:4 will get to do all it wants to do and no one will be able to stop it, not even the U.S.

The Prelude to the Second Signpost

The Iran War which started February 28 has been the prelude to the Second Signpost.

I believe Iran goaded Israel and the U.S. with its purported pursuit of a nuclear weapon, into attacking it to exhaust their weaponry on the targets of Iran that didn’t mean anything.

Buried under granite mountains to the point where it would literally take 5 nuclear bombs at 400 kT each to reach only one part of Iran’s missile city, the U.S. and Israel were free to empty their interceptors and attack missiles and aerial bombs.

The Iranian regime, also known as the Persian Ram, by choking off the Strait of Hormuz has reduced the global oil inventory from 1.4 billion barrels providing a cushion for prices and supply, has been reduced to near zero so that any further interruption in production would cause major interruptions and price spikes of two or three times the current price of $100 per barrel.

The Attack on the Pumping Station

There are four pieces of evidence for the Second Signpost to have truly begun.

Evidence 1. The pumping station, number 9, was completely obliterated to the point that some sources say it will take about two months to repair. That is 60 days of 5 million barrels being missed.

The Second Signpost would begin to gouge out production, potentially taking out the entire Middle East oil infrastructure and one-fourth (25%) of the world’s oil. By taking out this pumping station, a full 5% of the world’s oil won’t get to market.

If there is a series of attacks on Arab oil infrastructure, this can be seen as the first one.

Evidence 2. Apparently, the attack came from the Maysan province of Iraq. Here is a Wikipedia article on the attack. The Maysan province is not only Twelver Shia like most of the southern half of Iraq, but it is the one province of Iraq that borders the region of Susa in Iran. That’s about as close to Susa as you can get.

In other words, this attack may represent literally the first going out of the Persian Ram to the west and the south. Look at the map that shows the location of Maysan province, Susa, and the pumping station. This would be Daniel 8:2, 4. Also, on Google maps the pumping station is at 24.252475626196265, 42.133517703693485 (just paste these numbers into the search field or follow the link).

Evidence 3. This item is not directly from Scripture. However, the Signposts have been aligned with the Jewish calendar and the shemitahs. The Iran War escalated on the midpoint of the current seven-year period, and now for the Second Signpost to begin now would be at the start of the fourth years of the current shemitah (Rosh Hashanah did start this year on September 11.).

Evidence 4. The UAE is talking about peace talks with Iran. The Saudis are not looking for retaliation for the attack. It is as if the leaders of these two nations are very, very afraid of what is coming next.

Evidence 5. An expert on Iran was interviewed on the Mario Nawful channel. This expert says at the start of the video,

“My view is that what we’re seeing is not round three of the war. It’s the prelude to round three.”

His “round three” would be the Second Signpost. And, yes, we are seeing the start, if this is the Second Signpost.

What We Might See Next

As stated above, the Second Signpost consists of two parts.

First is taking out all the oil infrastructure. That may have started with this pumping station.

Second, and just as ominous, if Iran is planning to run out with troops across the Middle East, the U.S. Navy could still pick them off with bombs from our fighter jets coming from the carrier USS George Washington.

To prevent that from happening, the regime might very well take out that carrier or hobble it so no aircraft can be launched. No other U.S. bases in the region are useable right now so the Washington is it. Take that out and our fighters would be severely constrained in what they could do to stop Iran.

And if one of our carriers was taken out, what would be the response back home here? One of two things as I see it. Either we would press an attack on Iran possibly using nukes, or we would call for a complete withdrawal. Frankly, I hope it’s the latter.

Conclusion

All this may be another false alarm for the Second Signpost, or it might be finally the real deal. One thing is for certain in my mind, this current situation is about as “Second-Signpost-y” as I’ve ever seen watching for the Second Signpost since 2005.

We will know either way soon.

The day before the Second Signpost may be the last “normal” day. Fill up gas tanks. Fill up pantries. Today, Sunday, September 13, may be that last “normal” day.
