(9 October 2026) After so many years of watching for the coming of the Second Signpost, it has arrived, as written about here and in Daniel Revisited.
We have been watching the Iran War since February 28, and the “official” beginning of the Second Signpost on September 11.
Apparently, the Trump administration just made a deal with Putin of Russia, for Russia to sell the US diesel.
Trump announced the amount of diesel to be transferred is 300,000 tons, followed by larger amounts in ensuing months.
Trump wrote,
“Lower prices for Americans, especially our Great Farmers, Ranchers, and Truckers, is my Greatest Priority.”
Conclusion
This looks like Trump’s attempt to lower diesel prices prior to the midterm election. Whether it works or not is still anyone’s guess.
However, to me this seems to just be rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, as future escalations by Iran will make this deal insignificant.
