(7 November 2026) It seems the Iran War is on pause, at least from the US perspective. This may be due to the Trump administration deciding on what path to take.
Any resumption of major attacks on Iran will cause Iran to retaliate and wipe out the Arab oil infrastructure, instantly plunging the world into economic chaos, starting the full Second Signpost.

JD Vance backs a diplomatic route to end the war.
Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM support a return to major combat operations.
Marco Rubio backs continuing sanctions on Iran and continuing the blockade; in other words keeping things going as they are at the moment.
Conclusion
Though the US is deciding how to proceed with the Iran War, the IRGC could resume attacks on the US at any time. However, they may wait until the Congress is under control of the Democrats.
