Jesus said, “Watch.” I have been watching for years now. And so have many of you. Waiting and wondering, when will Iran run out across the Middle East?
When will our world turn upside-down? When will oil be expensive and gasoline be much harder to come by? When will the Middle East explode in violence and butchery as Iran’s Shia militias race across vast territories of desert, and make IS look like a bunch of amateurs? When will Christians and churches wake up out of their slumber?
Any single day probably has about the same chance as any other for the start of the Second Signpost. The Shemitah didn’t seem to make a difference. But I’ve been considering for a little while now the increased chance with this coming November 9.
It was at the start of June I was asking the Lord in prayer if He might show me how long we have. Do we have days or years? I find sometimes he answers like the encounter I had with the man on the mountain bike. The next day I was watching the news, catching headlines on various channels (it’s a hobby of mine, you know). One thing struck me as odd – on every channel (and I mean every) anchors were saying “five months”, “five months”, “five months to go”, “looks like we have five months.” They were all of course talking about the US Presidential Election coming on November 8. Even so, I don’t remember ever hearing every channel use the same phrase on the same day, like that.
Could the Second Signpost begin the day after the US Election if Trump wins?
Was this the Lord answering my prayer by chance? Or was it just coincidence? And then it hit me – Donald Trump. He said he would “tear up” the nuclear agreement with Iran. His “I love war” comment reminded me of some of Reagan’s tough-guy rhetoric (which I do miss in this era of doves). If Trump did indeed tear up the nuclear deal, Iran would not get any more of their money for the time being, and Iran could find itself under a microscope.
Is it possible that the Iranian regime might be a bit intimidated by candidate Trump as they were with Reagan? Is it possible that if Trump wins on November 8, the regime might immediately begin the Second Signpost the very next day? This would give Iran two months before the current sitting dovish President is replaced. From the looks of Scripture on the Second Signpost a lot could happen in two months.
Of course if Hillary wins then the Iranian regime has the luxury of time.
But again it might pay to have bought your gold, have the pantry stocked up and your gas tank topped off, on November 7.

Your exactly in line with what I was thinking, Mark. My last response in your prior posting confirmed it. I think it does all depend what happens on the morning of November, 9. Now, if it somehow is unclear who exactly it is that won because I’m still not sure even how I will vote come November 8, that will leave much uncertainty within the ranks of Iranian leadership. However, if Trump wins decisively, I do think life will not be the same as it was on November 7 and our enemies are watching closely.

Yes. And I agree with you regarding Nov 8. What a dilemma.
On one hand we have a candidate, who if elected will end this nation in its current form because she will place that 5th majority activist judge on the supreme court. The next time a state wants to ban guns they will say no problem, and its downhill from there.
On the other we have someone who can’t seem to speak a sentence with a vocabulary greater than a fifth grader.
What a dilemma. I might write in Ted Cruz. Still don’t know.
You and I are still on the same page! I am seriously considering writing in Cruz as well. But I’m not sure it will be a valid vote within Missouri ballot. Perhaps as time nears conservative local newspapers here will help clarify what a voter’s options are.

Thanks Mark! Definitely something to watch. I was thinking this week that Iran has been a bit quiet in the news – possibly in preparation for something.
I have also considered this possibility, and wondering about the constitutional crisis this would bring into the whole U.S. mix: an election, a lame-duck president and Congress, confusion in the transition, a state-of-emergency. If it weren’t for Jesus, there is much reason to worry and not be happy!
Most fifth graders do not understand the importance of overthrowing laws that have effectively prevented church leaders from commenting on politics. Anyone who can communicate that importance so that even fifth graders can understand has my approval.
Since the next signpost is going to happen no matter what we do, I am voting for the candidate who obviously loves this country and has a desire to get it back on the right track. I am not voting for a candidate who obviously despises the very founding of my country or a write-in or third party candidate that will get that candidate elected. On the chance that this signpost is delayed for some time, how can we, with good conscious, help elect a person who will further the moral, spiritual and fiscal decay of this country even if we will only be here “a short time”?
So you asked God, and he answered through the TV. You equate Trump’s nullifying the bogus Iran deal by Obama, Hillary, and Kerry with an “Act of War” by a war monger. You pick the election to usher in your second signpost in trying to prove your theory. When in fact you are subliminally encouraging your readers against voting for Trump. Did God tell you that on the TV also? The proof of my statement here is that you say bible prophecy, regarding Iran, will be fulfilled ONLY if Donald Trump is elected. If Hillary wins they all bets are off and the will of God has been changed. How can you profess to be led by the Holy Spirit when you are using bible prophecy to falsely accuse Trump as a war lord, and claiming to understand the mind of God? The Spirit of God calls that bearing false witness against your neighbor. I Cor 2:11..For what person knows the thoughts and motives of a man except the man’s spirit within him? So also no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

Most Americans here are completely oblivious about this looming cloud called Iran and their true intent for regional hegemony. If they were they would demand loudly and often to rescind that disaster Obama and Kerry brewed up to give away western leverage over Iran. They (Obama and Kerry) and by extension, we (Americans) are utter fools for allowing it and if Iran does its blitz as speculated by the few here in the interim between election day and January when the new president is installed, whoever that may be, it will far worse than the 9/11 attacks. Obama will be rendered useless and try and pawn it off on the next president to deal with…just the contemplating of this is enough to make my blood freeze. If I didn’t know that what Iran intends to do was within God’s plan to bring about his Son…I could see this tearing apart our nation!
Btw, when I was visiting Israel in November with Joel he (Joel that is) stopped me in the dinning hall and said you wanted to meet me, but I had already left. I’m so sorry I didn’t get a chance to visit with you. Perhaps if I ever get to go to Israel again with Joel, he can introduce a fellow prophecy geek to me! LOL!

In fact, that would have meant nothing to you had you not been praying. Also, repeating things over and over is a way God confirmed things in the Bible and told us to pay attention!

I am amazed at the indecision by people at this point of the elections. Granted we have one who is yet to be tested in politics and we will have to take him on his word. But as for the other choice, we have seen the record she holds. That in itself shows she is not fit to have a chance to run this country. The ideology (abortion, legalization of gay marriage, removal of conservative supreme court judges, etc.) that that party ascribes to should be enough to make a confident decision.

Keep in mind that Senator Lyndon Johnson slipped that bit of legislation into a bill away back in 1955, during Ike’s administration. I’ve always wondered why Nixon or Ford or Reagan or George or George W didn’t push to get this repealed. Its been around for 60 years.
The fact that Trump mentioned it in his speech is good, but if the Senate goes back to Democrat this January, there is nothing he can do about it.

I try to be innocent regarding evil, but wise as to what is good. It is never comfortable for me to try to figure out what evil-minded people might do, yet the temptation is there since we need to also not be ignorant regarding the devil’s schemes.
IF indeed the Iranian attack is looming over the horizon, the upcoming U.S. elections provide them an excellent opportunity to wreak havoc. They could even attack in the Middle East a day or two before the election that could raise serious crises in the electoral process. Evilly inspired terrorists could also simultaneously — whether or not coordinatedly — seek to create a scenario that throws people off. When we think of lawlessness, I am still amazed at what people come up with to show their contempt!
The whole world is in a conspiracy against the Father and the Son — and therefore against all that represents. Yet, praise God, He has His own plan that no one can thwart; and in His sovereign wisdom, He has essentially said to us all: if you don’t want what is good, then you will see what evil is. And the worst is yet to come!! Only Jesus saves, and good wins out in His coming again and in the first resurrection.
May the Holy Spirit fill us to enable us be overcomers by our faith, hope, and love in Jesus and in His blood sacrificially poured out for us on the cross. In the meantime, let us be faithful witnesses to those who are unbelievers, and to those believers who are not discerning the times in which we live.
Cruz is a globalist insider wolf in sheeps clothing and anybody voting for him is an ignorant dupe. And I’m a Texan and all my family voted for the fraud. Do your homework! Don’t fall for his facade! Cruz is out for Cruz and nobody else. He is a liar. He said he’s never supported legalization or amnesty and that’s a bald faced lie. Helped write policy that included legalization for the Bushes and he also did that for Hispanic advocacy organizations that he was involved with. The deal in which he wrote the amendment to legislation that included legalization but with no path to citizenship that he claimed was to expose those in congress who said all they wanted was legalization was such bogus bs. He says if they had gone for it he wouldn’t have voted for his own ammendment. He created a no lose situation for himself to scam people and possibly get legalization without people realizing that he was trying to if it turned out there weren’t enough in favor of it don’t you see that? He could go which ever way the political wind blew and be in favor. If they did go for it particularly a sizable number of repubs he could go with them. If they didn’t he could do what he did claiming it was just a trick and that had no intension of voting for his own ammendment. Given his previous support of legalization before he became a senator and the fact that he is Latino I think it’s pretty clear this was a con job.
His wife is big bank exec and he didn’t disclose money that he had received from Goldman Sachs on his disclosure when he began his candidacy. He has deep and long involvement with and ties to insiders like the bushes.
He is not a man of his word. He said he would endorse whoever got the nomination and then wouldn’t do it. Instead he made a fool of himself plugging for his run in 2020 in his speech at the republican convention. My friends in Texas who voted for him in the primary have expressed their embarrassment and disgust and that they see he is a greedy, classless man with no honor or dignity.
A vote for anyone but Trump is a vote for Hilary bottom line. That’s what the net effect is.
I go to church to hear the Bible preached. I do not want the pastor to talk politics and endorse or speak against any particular candidate or government official or bill or law. If it takes the “Johnson amendment” to keep politics out of church, I support it. If the pastor of the church I attend were to start talking politics, I would leave that church because I would wonder who he really loves the most: God or the USA.

I still think ram charging out will be a year or more away. I read somewhere a few months ago that Iran is trading oil for steel rails with India, to rebuilt the Tehran to Susa railway. The existing railway is narrow gauge, not big enough for military transport, still about 12-18 months to complete. Plus, they haven’t got all the tanks from Russia delivered yet.
I don’t think it matters much who wins the election, Obama has already done too much damage and the USA is going to implode. Just happens sooner with Hillary. Either way, the USA will be too self-involved to do anything about the mid-east.

The church is asleep. We are also very weak. (When I say ‘the church’ and ‘we’ I mean specifically all of us, including myself)
Jesus said that
“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. 6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming;[a] go out to meet him!’ 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. 11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
Notice that all ten of the virgins slept. What is it going to take for you and I and the rest of us to wake up? Is there a moment in the prophetic time table when we will all of a sudden be faced with the reality of a very very short amount of time until the clock stops ticking? Israel is back in her home land as prophesied. Ezek 36:24 & Ezek 37:11-14 The fig tree is beginning to bud. We can see this as a first sign of summer. Luke 21:29-32 So what is the next event on the prophetic time clock and what should that do to us?
Iran will start a war throughout the middle east and charge west, north and south. Yes Daniel chapter 8 is an end times chapter. notice verses 8:17&19 state that this vision is for the time of the end. In Daniel’s vision the Ram (Iran) charges west, north, and south in the middle east. This will cause great chaos in the worlds economy as the Saudi oil fields are overtaken. Then the goat (Turkey) will overtake the Ram. Out of Turkey will come the little horn who is the antichrist.
This Ram is the next event. A precursor for us to see and prepare for a final ministry for His kingdom if you will. This could be upon us very swiftly. What is God’s intention in giving us this prophecy? It is God’s wake up call for those of us who are watching. This is the beginning of the great cleansing of the church. Or at least for those who will listen to God’s messengers as they blow the trumpet in Zion. In Jesus’ parable of the ten virgins someone heralded a cry at the last hour with the purpose to awaken the church and stir them to prepare to meet Him. We are to prepare to stand before the Son of Man. Luke 21:36
So there is an end time ministry right around the corner that is about to birth at this event for the purpose of waking up the church to the reality of His coming. This is not a ministry to be done with writing books and blogs and chat rooms! This is a ministry for the watchmen. For God’s end time messengers to His people. For the prophets of the Lord! Those who would be His voice to the world and the church at the last hour, at midnight. This event upcoming with Iran is the time for the final proclamation of the gospel and the time for the church to wake up!
Joel said- “Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy Mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming,” Joel 2:1
And “Now, therefore, says the Lord, Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord you God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm. Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly, gather the people, sanctify the congregation.” Joel 2:12-16
It is the watchman’s job to blow the trumpet and warn the people. It is the prophets job to wake the people and warn them. This ministry will be both.
When God spoke through Ezekiel a repeated theme that Ezekiel said was when you see this____ “then you shall know that I am the Lord”. It is spoken over and over in Ezekiel. What that conveys is a wake up call to those who see the fulfillment of prophesy. So when we see the fulfillment of Daniel chapter 8 we will have a great awakening knowing of God (most will not wake up) that we didn’t have before. We will have walked through a door and we will be amongst those who know that the time is near. Most of us fell we are somewhere near the end but don’t know where. When this happens we will know exactly where we are in the prophetic time line. And greater faith and clarity will follow. We will be awakened to an end time mission. Released and beckoned by God to be His voice to the church to wake up and prepare for the bridegroom is coming. And a witness to the world to compel them to come in. Joel also said that right at those last days there would be an out pouring of God’s Spirit with dreams and visions before the sun and the moon go dark! Joel 2:28
But that’s not all. In Daniel it says-
“the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits. and those of the people who understand shall instruct many.” 11:32,32
“Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.” 12:3
“Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.” 12:10
Those who allow God to awaken them will be strong and carry out great exploits for the kingdom of God and they too will awaken many and because they were awakened and kept oil in their lamps they will shine like the brightness of heaven and they will preach to the world that which Jesus whispers in theirs ears from the house tops turning many to righteousness thus they will shine like the stars forever. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few…. Unfortunately it will most likely only be a few who will be willing to be used for such a ministry. He will do the preparing for His end time messengers to His people and to the world, as He did with the coal of fire for Isaiah, or the vision Jesus for Ezekiel or and Paul, and the burning bush for Moses.
Let us therefore not be ashamed of Jesus and His words in this adulterous and sinful generation or He will be ashamed of us when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels. Mark 8:38

Consider that the LORD has a sense of humor! Donald’s last name is not Trump for nothing. The way I see it, as I kid my husband all the time is that Trump is the last Trump for America! I see Donald as president for 8 years, our last president before the LORD’S return. I believe he will be president because he will help Israel, the LORD will see to this. The LORD will place Trump in office for this very specific reason, helping Israel in any way she needs. The LORD keeps his promises and will save Israel when the hoard of Muslims flood Israel to destroy her completely. Blessings to Israel and America!
