I wrote not too long ago in this post that things are looking more and more like there is a three-way trap leading the world into the Second Signpost. One of the three is the situation with Ukraine.
So now Russia invaded Ukraine this morning.
Hopefully, it will be limited to Russia militarily defending the two break-away areas in the Donbas region and will be over. And hopefully, the US administration won’t be dumb enough to indirectly encourage China to move against Taiwan. I wouldn’t bet on either though.
Now is one of those times to especially be alert, to be watching and praying.
With the developments this morning, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) made a statement that was parallel to this seeming three-way trap of the Second Signpost, though of course he didn’t put it that way.
I have come to believe that when the Second Signpost occurs it will be because the US military is tied down by Iran’s allies, China and Russia. Daniel 8:4 (NASB) says of the charge of the Persian ram:
“. . . nor was there anyone to rescue from his power.”
In other words, the US forces will be already defeated or pulled out of the area due to global circumstances. China’s CCP will be expanding its power and influence for Taiwan is only the first step to taking over the entire East Earth. And the IRGC will be charging out and occupying Mideast Muslim countries. This is summed up succinctly when Senator Graham said, “You’ll be in a third world war and you’ll have a bunch of radical Islamists with nuclear weapons.” That does sum it up and sets the stage for the unfolding of the remainder of the Signposts.
Furthermore, in this hemisphere, it looks like the West, which has made the love of money their god, will lose it due to any number of circumstances. Pertaining to this, Senator Graham also said, “I don’t know how much more we have to suffer as a nation and let bad guys kick us in the a– and lose control of our own destiny here at home.”
Well, that may very well be our destiny for we have forgotten our God as a nation, and He may very well let us lose everything so will come back to Him.
As Keller wrote in his book Counterfeit Gods, “People don’t realize Jesus is all you need until Jesus is all you have.”
We may not have very much time. That’s a problem when one is watching. It looks like the coming event could be years away and other times it looks hours away—like now.
Just be ready. Dwell in his shelter. Cast out the idols of your heart and make Him your only God.

Who would want gain-of-function experiments designed to maliciously kill people being conducted near one’s own borders?
From Moses saying to Pharaoh, “Let my people go!” to the people Moses led entering their promised land was a period of over four decades. Jeremiah 16:14-15 prophesied of a return of Jews from Europe and other places to establish the nation of Israel in the promised land, which also took decades to accomplish. I was born in 1946, a year before Israel’s war of independence (1947-1949). Jeremiah 23:7-8, which reads almost the same as Jeremiah 16:14-15, pertains to the scattered descendants of the northern tribes of Israel that were taken into captivity by Assyrians. Notice the change from “I will restore them to the land I gave their ancestors” to “then they will live [in freedom] in their own land” (NIV). I have lived to witness Canada’s freedom convoy spreading to other countries where the Bible is scripture. The timing of this third exodus, in place this time, is indicated in Isaiah 26:20-21, which alludes to the first exodus, but indicates the 2020-2021 COVID restrictions, ending in 2022, the year the deep state that desires to control people will be fully exposed and defeated. They created false testing that could not differentiate between the flu and COVID to make it look worse than it was so that they could use illegal voting methods to steal the 2020 election. God allowed this for a sting operation to bring the enemies of freedom to justice. “See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer” (Isaiah 26:21 NIV). America will not have to endure grinding poverty, because God has a covenant with America that its deep state failed to cancel. The fall of the deep state will be like the destruction of Egyptian armies in the Red Sea, God’s most famous previous sting operation.
Watergen is an Israel-based global company that makes and sells equipment for extracting drinking water from the air. When I viewed the company’s promotional video, Genesis 22:18 came to mind:
“And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”
Israel itself needs drinking water from the air. According to ISI Water of Vermont: “Today, Israel gets a whopping 55 percent of its domestic water supply from desalinated seawater and brackish groundwater. Producing 150 million cubic meters each year, Israel’s Sorek desalination plant is the largest in the world. It alone provides 20 percent of the potable water that Israel consumes.” More water is evaporating into the air over the Mediterranean Sea than can be replaced by the rivers flowing into it. If water from the Atlantic were blocked from replacing water evaporating from the Mediterranean Sea, the Mediterranean would shrink into another Dead Sea. Warmer Mediterranean waters are saltier than cooler Atlantic waters with a lower degree of evaporation over them. The waters surrounding the Arabian Peninsula are also warmer. With 49 percent of the water that Saudis consume coming from desalination, Saudi Arabia could be blessed by Israeli water-from-air technology. Isaiah 35:6-7: “Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs” (NIV). I almost daily make carbonated beverages using a device produced by SodaStream, another company whose headquarters is in Israel.

We have a Haman-Mordecai clash à la the Book of Esther going on in Ukraine that will not end well for the Hamans of this world.
