September 25, 2022, which was the turning over of the Jewish seven-year cycle, has come and gone. The seventh cycle since 1980 has begun.
We, the watchmen here in the end times, watch for the signs of Christ’s return. And though it’s tempting to try to make sense of these signs time-wise, the Bible only gives us signs, not times.
It was good in the last few weeks leading up to September 25 to especially be ready and watchful as one never knows what God may have in store in these seven-year cycles. But let us not forget we should never pin hopes and bets on these dates.
Lessons from the First Horseman and First Signpost
Each of the four horsemen of Revelation 6 is a herald, as written about in my book, Chronicles. They declare when the conditions are set for the next Signpost. The coming out may be obvious or may be discreet. The coming out of the first horseman in Revelation 6:2, I believe, was obvious and occurred the very hour of the start of the cycle on September 10, 1980.
Revelation 6:2 says of the first horseman, “He went out conquering, and to conquer.” (NASB)
Indeed Saddam Hussein did come out conquering. That very first hour of the new seven-year cycle he began his first attempt at conquest, ordering his army to begin shelling Iranian positions on the evening of September 10, 1980.
Iraq roaring and taking down prey like the lion with wings Iraq was at the time, set the stage to make the lion stand and change its mind, years later.
Since 1980, six cycles have passed by. We as human beings can try to make sense of the cycles, hoping they line up with significant events. It is perfectly fine to do such things, but again, we must not pin bets on these things.
The First Signpost can be a lesson to us. It began with pinpoint accuracy at the start of the 1980 cycle. However, Saddam’s second attempt at conquest came in the middle of the second cycle (1990). His removal, which was the start of the First Signpost proper, occurred in the middle of the fourth cycle (2003). The withdrawal of the force that made the lion to stand occurred in the middle of the fifth cycle (2011).
It could be all the Signposts might occur over a number of cycles, all lumped together in a number of cycles, with the Fourth Signpost ending at the doorstep of the seventieth week. Only God knows.
It is also possible that since Revelation 6:4 says of the arrival of the second horseman, “Another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men should slay one another,” he may have been granted that authority that first hour yesterday on September 25. Would the second horseman then do his thing immediately or take his time? Again, we don’t know.
Keep Watch
Do not be discouraged. Keep watching.
All this is to say that just because discernable signs of the Second Signpost didn’t happen at the first hour of a cycle like the First Signpost did six cycles ago, doesn’t change anything. It could also start in the middle of a cycle. God’s timing has been God’s timing since this all began.
This whole experience teaches us simply that there is at least another layer of complexity to all this.
Our command from Christ is to simply, “Watch!” (Mark 13:37 NASB) And I believe there is room in Christ’s command for speculating about the turning over of cycles.
(Note: Besides, the book about the hidden Babylon which is finishing up review and heading to editing shortly can be released. The central message is important. It tells us—reminds us—of something we might dismiss as not important is actually very important.)

THE FOUR SIGNPOSTS 
God has purposely scattered his revealments concerning the end times. “Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts, for precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, and there a little, for with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people, to whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest, and this is the refreshing, yet they would not hear, but the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, and there a little, that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken” (Isaiah 28:9-13). God himself will oversee the critical transition between the second and third signposts. “Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might, and upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds, and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come, for I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life, and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD, and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them, And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD” (Jeremiah 49:35-38). Daniel saw “an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground, and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes, and he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power, and I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns, and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him, and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand” (Daniel 8:5-7). What Jeremiah wrote indicates that what Daniel later saw will not be accomplished without God being directly involved.

As of Sunday, Iran’s Islamic Republic army began an all out war against the Kurdish people in northwest, and inside Iraq (Erbill). This is in response to the uprising of Women and Men inside Iran after the death of Mahsa Amini (A Kurdish girl visiting the capital Tehran who died in Police custody). Is the second signpost possible beginning now? This attack involves war crimes too. May the Lord bless us all; and we need to watch closely and hear the actual news! (I hear news from Farsi speaking outlets on YouTube).

I’m not sure if you’re familiar with The Watchmen Newsreport on YouTube but recently they did a news piece on Iran and I thought it was extremely telling how they called the IRGC a “beast” at 7:30 timestamp in the video below. Thought you might find that noteworthy.
Although militarily strong, the Iranian regime does not have strong support from the Iranian people. A live TV broadcast with the Supreme Leader was recently hacked into by protestors.

This has me reevaluating what is written in Jeremiah 49:34-39. The prophesied scattering of Elam may be caused by the regime itself. Notice the chiasmic structure.
A – The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,
B – Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam [IRGC], the chief of their might [Supreme Leader].

While we believe that a Turkiye-led confederacy will be used by God to destroy the Iranian regime, we don’t know what would scatter the common people of Iran. Perhaps it will be their own government.

Was this God’s way of confirming that Turkiye is prophetically one of the four heads of the leopard of Daniel 7:6? “Turkiye has prepared an action plan for the preservation of species while a research unit was set up exclusively to track the leopards.” Why is the preservation of leopards so important to the Turkish government?
Daniel 8:4 has the ram charging “toward the west and the north and the south” (NIV). A summary of a 2022-10-17 speech by the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has this: “Highlighting Iran’s principled policy of safeguarding its security, the IRGC chief said a change in the [political] geography of the region is the Islamic Republic’s red line. Denouncing the foothold that the Zionist regime has established in a number of countries in south, west and north of Iran, the general said, ‘Our neighbors may argue that such presence of Israelis poses no threat to our (Iran’s) security, but the nature of Israel is creating insecurity. We advise the neighboring countries not to let Israel into Islamic territories because they (Zionists) seek to foment insecurity,’ he added.”

On 2022-11-13 a UN climate conference is to conduct a ceremony on Mount Sinai in Egypt. Those climbing up there are to descend with their brainchild “Climate Justice: Ten Universal Commandments.” I now understand why God allowed people to think that Mount Sinai is in modern Egypt instead of its real location east of the Gulf of Aqaba in Saudi Arabia (Galatians 4:25). Correcting my October 9 post in this thread, we DO KNOW what has scattered the common people of Iran. The founding of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979 resulted in a worldwide Iranian diaspora.

I have a funny update to my October 29 post on this thread. The UN climate conference had to sheepishly relocate its guilt-trip hysteria from a fake Mount Sinai in Egypt to London, of all places! “Due to restrictions placed upon us by the Egyptian government, we have had to move the ceremony of repentance and the central release of the 10 spiritual climate principles to another location. The event is currently planned to take place on Nov. 13th in London.” Why did the Egyptian government suddenly jerk the rug under the climatists? Moses and Mount Sinai are favorably mentioned in the Qur’an. Perhaps the Egyptians suddenly realized that these climatists were about to use their Mount Sinai in a way that would be seen as disrespectful to Islam.

There is a problem with what is said in the video. The tile is not evidence that the Western Wall is part of the Temple complex (which in AD 70 was so completely demolished that not one stone was left standing upon another). Instead, it is evidence that the so-called Temple Mount walls are the walls of the Roman fort Antonia, which was occupied by the Tenth Legion after the Temple to its south was demolished. The Temples were always in the City of David above Gihon Spring (now within an Israeli national park). Muslim holy sites do not have to be disturbed when another Temple must be built. In Turkiye a presidential term is for five years. If Erdogan is reelected in 2023, his final term of office would end in 2028. But if Erdogan is the notable horn of Daniel 8:5, his time in office could be cut short (Daniel 8:8). But if Isaiah 16:14 indicates that the second signpost will last three years, the third signpost must also be short-lived if the fourth signpost is to begin as early as 2028. But a second signpost invasion into parts of Turkiye could alter Erdogan’s plans to retire in 2028. These speculations are meant to suggest that the lengthy period of time between first and second signposts will not be repeated between second, third, and fourth signposts. The Antichrist is probably already planning his path to power over most of the Islamic world and beyond.

That’s the problem with setting times. The seven-year cycles are not always reliable. As I’ve written about earlier, 1980, 2001, and 2008 saw significant events, but 1987, 1994, and 2015 have not. Add 2022 to the latter list.

What is your take now that nothing happened in 2022. From your tally of years (1980, 2001, 2008 v. 1987, 1994, 2015, 2022), it look like the 7-year cycle is not significant. Can we not dispose of the 7-year cycle along with Christ is coming in 1984, 1988, 1989, 1992, 2000, 2012, etc.?

Yes, at a glance it looks like nothing happened, and the nothing years are outweighing the something years.
However, sometimes the significant event for a given cycle has to be dug deeply to find. As an example, Saddam, he who rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest, started his first conquest the very hour of the new cycle in September 1980. That was not generally known. Alot of digging was involved.
Likewise, digging was required for 2022. Though I couldn’t find anything the very hour, I did find something that was a few days off (like 9/11 was a few days off). A post is coming on this. We all can decide if it is significant or not.

That’s amazing, that book goes on the buy read list. To be honest haven’t studied the Bible in 20 years, but because of the 4th seal dream and signs that caught my attention, it’s worth looking and trying to figure out what’s written and what is to come.
