(28 February 2026) Revelation:6:3-4 (NIV 1984) says,
“When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.”
It looks like the second horseman has just received his sword.
The First Horseman, the First Cycle
The First Horseman was released and rode out at the beginning of the Jewish seven-year cycle (the first of the end times) that began in 1980. In that hour, Saddam lobbed the first artillery shells into Iran in order to appease his desire for conquest, as he rode out conquering.
The Current Seventh Cycle
September 2022 saw the beginning of the current cycle, the seventh cycle. It was on that day that Russia was holding the vote in east Ukraine, showing a clue that the seven-year cycles still stuck to the Signposts, since the Russia-Ukraine War might be a trigger or catalyst for the Second Signpost, and it still might be.
Here we are in the middle of the cycle now. The Second, Third and Fourth Signposts could all be complete by September 2029, the end of that cycle, allowing the Tribulation to begin.
The Second Horseman
Just as the First Horseman rode out with the first artillery shells bombarding Iran, so the Second Horseman may be riding out right now with his sword, being given authority to allow men to butcher one another in the Muslim Realm.
We have seen Iran now launch missile strikes on several Muslim countries killing perhaps 100 people, and they announcing their intention to strike back. This is a way wars escalate.

Interestingly, I had found in research a curious thing about the IRGC and its sword—it is Zulfiqar, the sword with two points, just like the Ram represented by the IRGC.

THE FOUR SIGNPOSTS 
Genuine question: what if, after Israel and the US finished their attack and Iran hasn’t retaliated by invading other countries?
what I mean to ask is, at what point would you concede that your signpost theory is not correct? Genuine question, because with other people I’ve seen them just move the timing “yeah this was a false flag but next time…. let’s wait some more”?

I’ve been asked this many times before. And yes we have had many false flags, i.e. fits and starts as it were.
If the regime is defeated and removed, it would mean one of two things – the Signpost theory is incorrect, or (less likely) the Signpost theory is correct, but the Ram and Bear won’t run out for many years or even decades into the future. I say many decades, and less likely, because it would mean a similar situation being set up to make Iran’s armies run out unhindered. If the regime (the Assembly of Experts, and the IRGC) are removed and disbanded, the then regime can be said to be “dead.”
Interestingly, this question you asked is the opposite of those who ask, “Has it happened yet?” There are those who wonder if the Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria, etc, were already making it happen. The answer was “No.” Daniel 7, 8, and Revelation 6 are quite specific.
I have also written/spoken that if the Signpost theory is wrong, that I would put up a big apology message, apologizing for leading people in the wrong direction, and that I was wrong, and that I would then leave that as my last message for several months and then take the site down.

I don’t believe you’ve led me in the wrong direction. In fact, your book Daniel Revisited and this blog has led me to dig into the word deeper than I ever have.

This is prophetic scripture we are trying to interpret, we are not prophesying.
You have told me that my interpretations, (which are still evolving btw) are not “your” Signpost Theory. I get that now. It is something different, but built on the same foundation. If that makes sense.

Thanks for your kind words.
I wasn’t sure if I was making myself understood, but now I see you do understand. What I debate/argue/support here is Signpost theory. If it veers from that, its not necessarily wrong, its just different. Over the last 15 years or so I have seen several people start with the Signposts and end up with something different – slightly or greatly.
We are all students of the Word, trying to interpret prophetic Scripture with the help of the Holy Spirit and the noggins God gave us.
You are a blessing to me as well.
