(16 April 2026) It is now 10 pm MST April 16, or, 5 AM GMT, April 17. As of now, the Strait of Hormuz has been blocked for 47 days.
The idea of the Second Signpost having started March 2 is still in play.
The second horseman continues to take peace of mind from the earth across many nations, and at various intensities.
This article and this article cover the conditions in many nations around the world. Pacific Island nations depend heavily on imports and are having shortages. Pakistan has closed its schools and shortened the work week. France and Poland are seeing long lines at the gas stations. Bangladesh is rationing fuel.
Conclusion
So far, the US has only experienced a 40 percent rise in fuel prices. That may change as the weeks go by until late May when things will worsen if the Strait closure continues.
Stay awake.
Keep watch.

In Northern Europe the airline SAS has cancelled 1,000 flights in the month of April alone.
Many other European airlines are cancelling flights too.
At this moment, Europe has six weeks of kerosine left.
Then flights will have to be cancelled not due to the high price alone, but because of shortages.

This spring, they stay mostly in Europe, and many of them even in their own countries.
Many European fishermen stay in port because Diesel for the ships costs more than what they earn through fishing.

The EU is considering financial support for the fishermen.
The United Kingdom is preparing for food shortages this summer.
Not yet because of the consequences of lack of fertiliser, but because of shortages of carbon dioxide, which is used a lot in food preservation, for instance of chicken and pork.
It is used in solid form too keep vaccines frozen and to cool organs for transplantation.
And yes, it is also in all our fizzy drinks.
Apparently a large part of the worlds pure carbon dioxide also came from the Gulf.
I could not find how much.
Just as with helium this was not widely known until the transport from the Gulf stopped.
Very good info, Adamant. Thanks.
